@Moxytocin Maybe Stephen King is the last great Maine writer before you.
P. S. I've spent a lot of time in Durham and Lisbon Falls
What I'd really like right now is a roll of Parma Violets. The local grocery has Choward's, but they are not the same. The flavor's different! To say nothing of the texture....
@DaringSprinter This was so interesting I looked it up. You can giant Parma Violets online at English Tea Store.
Peaches 🤤
@achetocuddle: If I had the money, I'd get myself a box. Make paying for shipping worth it! Plus I really go through these, especially on chilly nights. A mug of tea, a book, a roll of Parma Violets... it's a temporary but genuine pleasure.
If you ever try them, I'd be interested to know what you think! The flavor's light but lingering.
@DaringSprinter I checked my Publix supermarket. They don't have them even tho they have a small British section. They look delicious.
@achetocuddle: They are. It's a shame they're not more conveniently available here in the States. Oh well—such is life. I do crave, though!

Peanut butter and chocolate has been my sanity saver sometimes.
Well, earlier, since it was really hot today, I just wanted a Venti-sized pink drink blended, or a Venti-sized lemonade with 6 pumps raspberry and strawberry açaí on top blended from Starbucks. A drink mixed with lemonade in it at least.
@DaringSprinter I've never heard of those! They look like Smarties. What kind of flavor are they?
~ Sunset Snuggles
@SunsetSnuggles: Smarties, yes! That's the general mouth feel, though Parma Violets are a bit softer. They're flavored like parma violets—that is to say, these.
But with added sweetness. A bit odd in concept, but tasty! I think they go well with green tea.
@DaringSprinter Wow, never heard of that flower, either! I imagine something lavendery and "pale"...yes, pale is a taste.
@SunsetSnuggles: I'd say that's a good description. It's a light, flowery sweetness that lingers a bit on the tongue.
1) Bruster's Oreo ice cream on a waffle cone ... it's SO creamily delicious. The oreos are chunky and the cones are made fresh, but they're often out of it when I go there
2) Haagen Daaz waffle cone.
3&4) Cookout's Snicker's mikshake or Oreo milkshake. I iove the crunchy bites in my ice cream and shakes. Most places tend to over blend, but if cookout gets it right, the Oreo shake is awesome. You can't really overblend snickers since the cold hardens it up.
Available for cuddles!?
I don’t know why but I often crave these
Chocolate ice cream with brownie bits and hot fudge on top.
@TeaBabe that sounds really good!
@Love2Cuddle757 You know a lot about ice cream Lots of things at Cookout are good, even the grilled chicken sandwich. I like Tillamook cherry ice cream. Also the chocolate. The peach Bluebell ice cream is good, but I like peach Tillamook better. Edy's Fudge Brownie is a fave. Lots of vanilla ice cream is good, including some of the cheap ones.
punemily didn't waste time executing a move to get banned.
My boyfriend and I picked up some of our favorite ice cream and took a walk by the river with it, after dinner! Sooo good. I even put this into homemade milkshakes, sometimes.
@SunsetSnuggles I prefer sitting with a dreamy expression on my face when I eat ice cream. Lol. Over the years I've had a couple of strangers come up to me and say you sure look like you are enjoying that ice cream. Lol. YES. Yes, I was. I like geography and tried to see where you two may have walked. I noticed Flat Creek is a big long creek.
@achetocuddle Aww, you're so sweet, we're actually in northeastern Wyoming right now, it was Big Goose Creek in Sheridan. 🤠🐎🦬
@SunsetSnuggles Mmm, pretty. I love that tall grass. I'm far from vegan, or even vegetarian, but I eat quite a bit of plant foods. A few years ago the dermatologist asked me why my skin was so pretty. It reflected light. It was news to me. She asked if I ate mostly plant foods. I said yes. She said that's it. So interesting and motivating. Although feeling better is motivation enough. And the simplicity of some plant food prep
@achetocuddle That's awesome! There are so many delicious vegan alternatives, I'm glad it's not just fruit and vegetables. 🤭
I had chocolate covered toffee hazelnuts that I bought from Shoppers Drug Mart.
Currently, I'm craving Hibiscus Tea... when I lived in England, I had a friend who would give me a LOT of hibiscus flowers that she would get from her sister, who grew them in Greece. 🫖🥰
Baklava. Mmm!!! I have to stay away, it's so addictive!
