Using a Reddit/subReddit system of forums would be of great help. A lot of these threads are way too long to be of any use. It's fine for the die-hards & long-time users but newbies and casual users are not going to bother,

What is the number of karma before the karma number appears on the bottom left in parentheses on the search page? Sometimes that doesn't appear on the cuddlers search page profile, but when clicking on and visiting the profile the cuddler has some karma. And why is this the case?
@snugbuddy the Karma number doesn't appear on the thumbnail unless there is a mininum of (I think) five five-star Karma.
As a pro I have to constantly manually update my availability. It would be nice if there was an availability calendar that could sync with iCal and Google Cal that would just show when I’m available.
Suggestion for a way to hopefully reduce the number of people posting in the wrong section of the forums that lately at least seems to mostly new professionals - have a little quiz on the basics of using the site and the forums required to become a professional. The forums part could be as simple as needing to correctly identify which section of the forums is for what.
@Zundar I agree. There has been a lot of that and it tends to muddle up the site a little.
A quiz will scare off half the potential new members. It'll make them feel like they're back in school.
I've heard this several times: "If I block them, it just makes their stalking/harassing worse." (however they're doing that), so the member may feel they have to deactivate their account or set it to mute to mitigate the issue, which they may not want to do.
What would get around this is to just allow setting a member to be muted to you, as in: disable notifications for new messages from them, so that those new messages will still go to the message thread, but you won't see notifications for them (the envelope red dot, email notification, etc). I'm not seeing how to do this.
This is essentially "shadow blocking", so that the stalking/harassing member can scream into the void and the target never hears it unless they want to go look for it. Maybe it'll allow the offending member to just let off steam without stoking more aggravation.
Anyway, just my two cents. I don't consider shadow blocking to be rude, nor disruptive.

That's not how notifications work. They're system-wide, not member-based. I have not heard of any plans to update this native functionality.
Easiest solution is to block them, @davebutton .
@Sideon I'm not sure what you mean by "That's not how notifications work. They're system-wide, not member-based."... notifications to the user is not system-wide (understand the perspective I'm talking about here), it's user-based on the sender and recipient.
Users don't get a system-wide notification for any message sent to any user... we only get a red badge icon on our account's envelope icon and an email notification for the message from the member that sent the message to us.
Anyway, saying "that's not how it works" doesn't mean anything when I'm obviously requesting a new feature or a feature change (which changes how something works of course). I work on websites; I know that if "something just doesn't work that way", it can be changed to work differently. Imagine if I responded to every feature request from a client "it doesn't work that way".
Anyway, can you understand the underlying point of the request to add this feature if it doesn't exist? It's stated at the beginning of my original post: "If I block them, it just makes their stalking/harassing worse", and "What would get around this is to just allow setting a member to be muted to you" with my explanation of sensible logic for this feature that would help us out.
Does it make sense how this would be a good feature to have, and would prevent deactivations and aggravation, and shunt harassment? It's called shadow blocking for a good reason; and I'm sure it can certainly be implemented into "how things work" just like any other request here has been implemented. Is the system too rigid for this to be added? Or is this a reasonable request to at least be considered?
Notifications to the user are not based on WHO sends them, but based on what types: tagged, mentioned, new comment on a thread the OP started, etc.

@davebutton You raise some very good points. Sometimes blocking does aggregate people and lead to more harassment, which is the opposite of what that person wants. We do have plans to organise messages in inbox via tags, one such tag generated by the system automatically will be "Low Priority" type messages (naming is still yet TBD) - these won't trigger any emails or push notifications. So that could be a nice way to solve this by auto tagging those messages from people you shadow block/mute. Feature is intended primarily for auto-tagging of new messages based on user preference. Details still yet to be finalised and this feature may change entirely, but that's just some ideas at the moment. Thanks your suggestions!

@Gary SO SO SO excited to see that the messages will be getting some sorting preferences. I know its not an issue for everyone but its really helpful to be able to sort and will help contribute to people/messages not getting lost or accidentally not responded to. So thankful!!
@gary I was also wondering if when you make the changes you can create a "search" feature like we have in the forums. i.e. you are looking for a message from @davebutton from when you corresponded last year and you just want to get to HIS specific message thread.
Just to jump in and set some expectation on that... Search in general is one of the most resource intensive and complex features you can add to a website. So unless it's fundamental or in massive demand, an alternative approach to help the originating use case will likely be preferred. That being said, a search type feature strictly limited to usernames does at least sound like a feasible idea for consideration.
Could we have more community events? Like meet ups for cuddle buddies or events just for the professionals. I’d love to meet more of my kind of people. 🥰

Hey so, I usually don't like to post in here. However, I've been getting frustrated with some problems with the site.
Problem #1: I came across a lot of profiles with nothing in their bios. I would like to suggest requiring new members put something in their profile. Even a simple "I'm just checking this site out" would be helpful. Some of the people I message with no bio either are scammers, untagged pro (I'll get into that in a sec), or just checking the site out (nothing wrong with this one), and it would be helpful if they have something in their bio explaining what theyre looking for at least.
Problem #2: A lot of the "non pros" I've messaged responded back saying "I charge $$$ for cuddles". Meanwhile, not only are they untagged, but they have that no where in their bio that they charge (thats if it's even filled out at all). I'm getting really tired of that and if I come across that. It's an instant report.
Sorry for the rant, not sure if these issues have been discussed before, but I guess I needed to vent and hopefully provide some light on some issues and hopefully solutions to those issues.
Mods if you have any thoughts or inputs please let me know.

@shannont - Accessing the site in the mobile web browser feels close to an app. Creating a native app takes time and money which is why they haven't done it. It has already been suggested numerous times.
@EagleCuddles - we appreciate each and every report of untagged pros. They get the boot or suspended until they initiate Pro cuddler status.
