Just a curiosity here-pondering as I wait for the cable guy.
This site is for platonic cuddle searches, nearly all of us understand that. We know that some people think of it as a dating site, but they don’t stick with the CuddleComfort crowd for long.
But there is the human nature side to platonicity. I’m not sure that is a word, but it is now.
We have heard and read in the forums about a partner whose platonic intentions get lost as they develop some romantic interest, or at least fantasy, surrounding a cuddle partner. I’ve read a lot about how cuddlers handle this, how they avoid it, etc. But I’ve also read a couple of people say that they converted a platonic cuddling relationship to a friendship, usually after talking it thru, setting new ground rules, etc.
But the have to be at least a few cuddle pairs where Cupid couldn’t keep his tiny pink nose out of it, and both developed romantic feelings, and took their relationship from platonic, to dating. I’m wondering I’d there is a statistic at Cuddle Comfort, like at eHarmony or Match, for the number of couples who met here and ended up married to each other. I’m guesding the number is VERY low, but it might be interesting to hear some stories.
