@cuddles_ndream You would be hard for me to do without. I don't mind saying so. I guess some peeps are wondering "When is that woman gonna start using emojis?" LOL.
Aww ty 🌌 ☺️ & same I appreciate you & all the awesome people here (home away from home 🏡) and as far as emojis lol you don’t have to use them, most people here actually don’t … my main reason for using them is to show expression in my writing , & when I make a new thread in the forum I used it because I feel its unique to me … my last few post I don’t think I used them however. When I was new I would constantly use them 🤭 you see ->
Regarding the ice cream truck falling in the volcano: The truck would melt, followed a nanosecond later by the ice cream melting. Baked Metal Alaska perhaps. This is such a sad little pun. ha ha ha
@achetocuddle I wish i knew the pun lol that was an interesting thread that received some interesting answers …. Even the poll I set up gave interesting results 🤔 😂
@cuddles_ndream - Thanks! I took my inspiration from traditional Indian floor seating. Yes, I do have a cat!
Yes, this is a good thread @cuddles_ndream. Not really a pun actually. But Baked Alaska is a baked dessert with ice cream on the inside and meringue on the outside. And those moonlit clouds at the beginning of the thread.... I don't think I will ever get tired of looking at them.
@BlueIris as a cat lover I spotted the cat toy right away 😄
@achetocuddle it is my mission this week to find a baked Alaska before the weekend gets here 😋 & I agree, moonlight clouds ☁️ & sky 🌌 is the best!
@cuddles_ndream If a restaurant still makes Baked Alaska, I'm sure New York is the place to find it. You lucky thing, living in the middle of all that primo food. I have to not think about the New York and Southern California food cause I'm not having any and I get depressed. Lol.
@achetocuddle i just learned that delmonicos steakhouse here in nyc invented it 😯 … I don’t know if you’ve heard of delmonicos but that is 1 of the oldest restaurant here in the city & the 1st fine dining restaurant in the country …. Now that’s rich people food right there 😅 I’ve never been there I’ll feel weird being in there lol (I went to peter lugers for the 1st time a little over 2 years ago) which is the “#1 steakhouse in the city on the Zagat for like the last 15 years or something” & no I would never go again, I think they have been paying the Zagat for the past 15 years & that was the worst steak I had in my life lol I would love to try something from the place that invented it, gonna try & see if its prices reasonably & if they allow pickup (I doubt it 😂) I’ll see if I find another spot …
And by the way, I promise you that you aren’t missing anything in Nyc post pandemic restaurant shutdown …. Anybody else whose also from nyc (if they’re being honest) will tell you that many amazing authentic restaurants were forced to shut down … so many amazing mom & pops … they couldn’t survive on delivery alone for such a long time & they were not allowed to sit anyone … than after months the city allowed 25% siting which wasn’t doable & when some tried to make this work they took that 25% away for months again … many & I mean many shut down …. Now all you see is bare minimum of the old school that have survived & lots of new “hipster” spots that look amazing & delicious on I.G. & than are blah in person … so yup Nyc had lost that flair unfortunately (I promise you). And it sucks … even the restaurants that survived that I personally loved going to seem to have lost the passion in their food & are just trying to survive with everything that happened and is still going on … yes you have your few gems that are still golden, but so far inbetween.
First the cuddle parties I've been going to in the park are absolutely great, cuddling with a group of people in a scenic location on a whole nest of pillows and blankets
My second ideal location would be in a big hot tub (I will explicitly state this is non-sexual of course) as the water jets would add an extra level of"oooh that feels nice"
I have heard of Delmonico's. That is very sad the New York food scene is forever changed. That is something to mourn.
My perfect cuddle could be a comfortable mattress directly on the floor with no fragrances, music or sound.
@Lithellyl that’s really nice! glad you found a group of people that make it possible for you.
@achetocuddle nothing beats just being in the moment!
I've been lucky enough to have my perfect cuddle, several times, and the setting is cool, dim, and quiet. The person I'm cuddling with makes the setting the most.
@Mela_B fire!
In a very quiet and peaceful Stupa.
In bed, spring time in a mountain cabin with all the windows open, cuddling with a regular cuddle buddy taking in the sounds and smells
In a soft lady's arms as I hold her in my strong arms holding her both gently and firmly simultaneously. Anything else is icing...
But now I want baked Alaska.....
@Mela_B right?! It looks & sounds delicious… I see that Phillipe chow has it as well (another really expensive place ) …. I’m gonna see if I can find it on eBay lol
