@herby357 The site rules dictate what platonic means for members who meet here. BTW I'm a disgruntled former pro who has virtually moved her profile from the US to Antarctica (maybe temporarily). I don't consider myself an enthusiast either though. Just a forum commenter.
@Moxytocin sorry to hear that you're disgruntled. Hopefully continuing to comment and virtually moving will help you get back to a positive space.
I don't comment much mostly because of what happened in this post. It's so sad that folks can't consider another's perspective without being negatively judgmental. It's difficult to grow/learn, or heal in that type of head space.
Because I've been willing to truly hear and not just listen, my cuddle partners (all pros) have greatly influenced and/or informed my view on what platonic-cuddling means from the female perspective. Sending positive vibes your way.
Reminding people of what the rules are on this site is not being judgmental. When you sign up on this site, that means you agree to play by the rules of this site which includes conduct in the forums. You are free to do whatever you want elsewhere.
@Babicev, please show me a quote where I said anything about not following the community rules?
@herby357 - please show me where I said that you did.
What you have done is repeatedly challenge what is considered appropriate and try to impress us with how you are nuanced, suggesting others are not. It’s getting tiresome. This is a friendly reminder that when you are participating in the forums and making arrangements through this site, the rules of the site are the rules of the road. In this venue, the rules to which we have all agreed define what is appropriate on this site. Please don’t argue with them. That is all. I have no interest in discussing this further.
@Babichev I appreciate how difficult being a mod can be. I thought the purpose of a forum was to exchange ideas and views on a particular subject? Repeatedly reminding the forum (or me in particular) of rules we're all aware of is not an exchange of ideas. You won't have to worry about my posting again. If I want to comment on someone's post, I'll contact them directly instead of sharing my point of view in the forum section.
I have cuddle friends and some of us give each other massages etc , just depends on the person, what they like , and what they are comfy with. Adults are capable of negotiating their own boundaries . I am not sure if you are specifically asking in terms of a pro / client dynamic. If that is the case, I would imagine that would need to be a conversation to have with them. However, due to needing to keep professional boundaries as well as the unfortunate reality that a lot of clients have the capacity to push boundaries and not act right , I can see where many would be reluctant to do so.
