Going back to original poster's topic, the issue isn't men having a lack of interest in Pro's who don't do anything sexual. The issue is men not wanting to pay your $90/hour fee for your time.
I'm sure there were some bad examples paying the fee and hoping for more, but I find it extremely problematic that after 9 pages of conversation, nobody points out how many good men with great intentions are probably not interested in paying the high fee for cuddle therapy.
"The fee is for her TIME!!!!" "NOBODY gets to dictate a woman's bill rate!". I get it. But at the same time, nobody is obligated to pay for the service.
OP should develop a screening process for meeting likeminded customers and set a rate that attracts a repeat customer base. If lowering the rate isn't an option, then elaborate or expand on services provided, like meditation, food, entertainment, exciting/interesting location etc. Or maybe you can target your services to trauma victims who specifically need your services at your rates for an extended period of time.
Otherwise, trying to shame all men for your low business when you're charging $90/hour for basically a rent-a-friend service is kind of funny.

Coming from a man it is wholly inappropriate for women to charge for intimacy, sexual or non-sexual. You can call this platonic or whatever you want. But you are no better than a common escort if you are charging for cuddling. To expect men to deny their sexual nature and not get aroused during an encounter is unrealistic. I think women who charge on this site and not expect guys to want or expect more are disingenuous. Cuddling IS an intimate experience. I have had encounters with women, not all on this site where the session involved activities beyond cuddling. They were wonderful experiences and consensual. I'd love to hear anyone defend themselves for charging.

@Daneman Wow, we couldn't be more different on this. To me, since intimacy is a form of emotional labor, I see no problem in people charging for it. Witness the number of people in failing relationships where partners can't be bothered to be intimate anymore because it just feels like work - it is, and if you're honest, everyone's paying for it one way or another. It doesn't mean you are automatically a SW and good for anything because you are selling intimacy.

Rates have nothing to do with men pushing boundaries. I had men push themselves on me at $65 hr. and $110 hr. How about men just stop treating cuddlers like they are entitled to more than platonic non sexual cuddling?
Our rates are very clear on our profile. If it's out of their price range they are free to look elsewhere. Trying to negotiate my rate will end in a "lol" followed by a block.
We are cuddlers, not entertainers. I'm there to provide platonic touch and comfort, not feed you and give you puppet shows. Exciting and interesting locations can be entirely dependant on the time of year, weather, etc. No one wants to cuddle outside in 95 degree heat with 105% humidity. Indoor locations such as boutique hotels cost money. Who is footing that bill? Not me.

What makes you think it needs a defense? There's a market for it, it's definitely not illegal, and I'd be very skeptical of anyone who tried to argue it's immoral. I actually have a little bit sympathy for the premise of finding charging for cuddles distasteful... but that doesn't mean it's wrong. You're making the leap from "I don't like this" to "People are wrong for doing this," but that leap isn't warranted.

If you don't have expendable income, then this site is not for you. If you can't afford a cruise or a plane ride to Barbados, don't go to Carnival or Delta and tell them that their rates are outrageous and that their services aren't valued - just spend your money elsewhere. @laidbackron I actually agreed with a lot of what you said on another thread, but at the same time, not you in particular, but people in general shouldn't feel attacked if you break community guidelines. Whether her rates are $0 hour or $300 hr. men have proven to be pushy and if they know they won't get what they want, they will move onto newer less experienced pros who are naive. If you're reading 10+ pages of men being pigs it's because they are acting like it. There are so many different factors that can affect someone's bookings, that, while I disagree with the premise of the original post, its also incorrect and biased of me to immediately jump to fees first or at all as the cause of issue, especially when said price falls well within range of everyone else.

A good friend of mine created an account on here for the purpose of cuddles and I’d say at least 95% of the requests were sexual in nature or turned into such requests, including well known male cuddlers with tons of “good” karma. She deleted her account after debating whether or not to be a pro cuddler.
Sone people have turned this into a facade with a large number of entitled predators and narcissistic grifters.
