A billion dollars? Pah, it's hardly worth entering. (Yes I know I've missed it.) I can't even get the holiday home I want for that.
Money clearly solves some problems. Money can give you a situation where you can be free to pursue things you can’t when you need a job to survive. With money you can spend all day doing things that make you happy. Money can make it possible to fulfill some personal goals and do things you’ve always dreamed of. Money can allow you to help other people. Money can allow you to make the dreams of others a reality.
Money could buy me happiness, for sure.
I'd build a chain of animal rescue sanctuaries, I'd fund libraries, I'd have fully funded, free care homes for the elderly and disabled. I'd make sure nobody went hungry or cold. Being able to do any of that on a larger scale would make me happy, all I can offer at the moment is my time, and that doesn't feel like enough sometimes.
