The obsession or overuse of textspeak and abbreviations tells me I don't need to know those people. These people tend to not be as thoughtful as I prefer, not self-aware and not as interested in making a substantial connection. They are more likely to flake, ghost, get slighted about trivial things while not taking the serious things seriously. I am not sure about this, but it suggests being more interested in trends than thinking for yourself.

@cylee I work with children who have mild to moderate special needs, frequently with multiple diagnoses. ADHD is one of the more common ones, and let me assure you that all of these kids can write a whole paragraph when they feel like it, never mind a sentence.
Let me repeat that it is the insistence that's important, not the occasional or even routine use.
The one thing they are not is people pleasers - quite the opposite. They are contemptuous of the people they are 'communicating' with.
