An aural and visual delight. Cab Calloway was rotoscoped for this animation. I love how the background tells the story and how the characters morph from one form to another. Trippy psychedelic animation with only black and while hand drawn cells, coming to you from 1933. All this and Cab Calloway singing one of the best ballads ever.
My favorite tune from Buena Vista Social Club. If you have an opportunity to see the film, do it.
