Confused about being Ghosted often

  • @ChillGuyTy Np dude! Best of luck.

It's not our fault nor their fault- it's the guys that go on tirades and send D pics that ruin it for everyone, or the guys that are looking for sex or fetish stuff.

  • I am actually very surprised to be reading this!

I’m the lucky lady who had a session with @ChillGuyTy and it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had on the site 😊

His initial message showed he put thought and effort into his words & it also showed me he read my profile! He did not come off too strong and he showed vulnerability by expressing he was new and still learning the ropes.

I honestly thought it was too good to be true! Haha
As a pro, we deal with so many jerks & time wasters so his message stood out for all the right reasons.

After accepting a session request, I provided him with my number and the man did NOT abuse it!! 🙏🏽
(I know my fellow pros are like yassssss! 👏🏽 lol)

So at this point, I’m thinking okay….this exchange has been nothing but perfection so clearly this isn’t real (hahaha) but let’s see how this goes…let’s see if anyone even shows up. Again…it seemed too good to be true. Lol.

To my delight, the wonderful and respectful person I was communicating with was real & just as lovely and respectful in person!

Our session was nothing short of perfection.
It was one of those sessions you enjoy so much, you just bask in the moment and forget about everything else.

The pros who ignored/ghosted this lovely person missed out on a really great guy and really great experience. It’s truly their loss.

    I’m looking forward to seeing @ChillGuyTy again. He’s truly a gem ♥️

@SweetCamiXO Wow, I’m actually speechless, my feelings about our session are exactly the same. Before messaging you I had already been ghosted twice, so I was thinking it would be more of the same. But to my surprise it was the complete opposite. Everything about our session was perfect and you went out of your way to make sure I was comfortable!

I really appreciate you responding in this thread and I’m glad I helped create a memorable experience for you! I’m truly looking forward to seeing you again!😊

  • @SweetCamiXO - yes. It seems the other pros missed out. Their loss. Glad you guys had such a wonderful session! 💕

@ChillGuyTy It’s not about meeting a life partner, but it is about a stranger on the Internet being comfortable cuddling with you! Some pros do not care about your profile, they will give anyone a shot (noting other kinds of professionals, like massage therapists, don’t get bios of their clients) while others might be choosy. For enthusiasts, I think you have to at least say something to differentiate yourself to have any shot.

I would not message a pro who only has a couple sentences in their profile, because a pro cuddler is running a business, and not using their profile to describe their services, tell a bit about themselves, their expectations, and so on is directly against their financial interests—I’d be surprised if such a person was a real professional trying to get clients! Someone could correct me on that, but this approach has worked for me.

I’ve pretty much had a 100% response rate, like last weekend I was looking for a cuddle and messaged three pros asking if they were available, and I heard back from all three. Two weren’t available, one was.

  • @ChillGuyTy You might not be seeking an older than you cuddle pro, but I'd cuddle you! And I'm nearby! 🙂

🤣🤣🤣 This is brilliant, @ChillGuyTy! You started the thread being ignored by professionals, and now your custom is being solicited!!

As for @Heatherrrr's relative age point, I've cuddled people from teenagers to retired and it just doesn't matter. I don't mean the experience is the same - it isn't. But any age-related pros and cons either balance out or are swamped by individual characteristics.

Separately, I've been thinking a bit lately about the sexualisation of cuddling, and I'm beginning to suspect that some of it comes from an entirely inappropriate age-similarity thing. This in turn comes from the dating world.

In truth, the care that many clients seek from cuddling is the care of a mother-figure. In which case a professional who is older than you may be a considerable advantage.

When I was 27 would I have booked an older cuddle professional? Well it was a long time ago in a different world so it's hard to say. Possibly yes, perhaps even probably, but not certainly. However, the doubt would have come entirely from my own ignorance.... Or possibly unresolved issues relating to my own mother. 🙄

  • Very well said! 🥰 @CuddleDuncan

  • @ChillGuyTy sounds like it worked out for the best and you were able to find the perfect cuddler that you needed.

@SweetCamiXO wow I love your response and how genuine you sound talking about your session with the OP.

I've seen your profile pop up on the home page a few times and thought you'd be a great cuddler. But after reading your response now I know you would be. If your travels ever bring you to Utah I would definitely love to book a session.

  • I would not message a pro who only has a couple sentences in their profile

I’d be surprised if such a person was a real professional trying to get clients!

This is good advice. A lot of pros are either not very dedicated to the site, or else are just generally flaky people, and you can often determine whether they fall into these categories by their profile.

However... in my experience, some of those pros who aren't particularly into the site are still really neat people who are well worth meeting. So an alternative to not messaging them is to go ahead and message, but don't be too attached to the result. I've had experiences where I visit a new city and message maybe 10 pros. And 6 of them don't reply. And of the 4 who do reply, one of them gives me the runaround and gives weird vague answers to my questions and won't book a session. And another one books a session but doesn't show up.

But then the last two I have really great sessions with and I'm really glad I met them. So, to me, as annoying as the experience with the other 8 was, it's worth it. Your mileage may vary, maybe depending on your tolerance for unanswered messages and flaky behavior.

  • @KamikaziNinja86 Thank you for the kind words! If I am ever in Utah, I’ll be sure to let you know! 🤗

  • @ChillGuyTy I love the sort of direct message you indicate opening up with. Specifically like how you lay out what you are interested in and looking for and include dialogue which shows you viewed and read their profile. I agree with the others in that you shouldn’t over think it or take it personally when folks block. Trust me, it happened to the best of us and for reasons we aren’t always aware of which is perfectly fine. Hope you continue to make great connections and have more great cuddles experiences within this site and otherwise.

@frankparker9 Thats a good way to put it that they are running a business, I haven't thought of it that way yet! I see your points , I think going forward I will start changing my first messages a little more and putting my individuality into them. Thanks again for responding and giving me more tips!

  • [Deleted User]ChillGuyTy (deleted user)

@Heatherrrr I definitely am! Thanks for reaching out to me!

  • [Deleted User]ChillGuyTy (deleted user)

@Nature_Lover_ Thank you for your input on my message style! I try to give the pro all information up front so they can make a decision on if it works for them or not. Also I’m going to stop taking it personally as well if I get blocked/ghosted/no response.

Also I see that you’re not too far away from me, so if I’m ever in the Nashville area I’ll be in touch!

@CuddleDuncan 😅🤣 your right, it wasnt on purpose but it looks like my situation is improving lol & you make some really interesting points, honestly right now I wouldn’t say that I have a preference one way or another. I think from hear on out I’m going to only reach out to pros that I feel truly want to provide an excellent experience. Thanks again for your input brother!
