Should I feel a bit offended?

  • @INeedAHug1216 "To me, the delivery of the her response just made me feel a certain way. No need for her to throw any frustrations of the industry at me despite her experience."

I think she had a need for it. I'd add that it also depends on how you personally recieved it and in the tone you read it. Cause the same thing could come off differently depending on the tone in which it's said. While I think she could've been a bit warmer in her response, she may have been exhausted and frustrated by inappropriate approaches and time wasters. So just like you felt the need to get to the point. Rather than trying to have a bit of a conversation to build rapport first, she could've felt the same. And thus wanted to get to the point and get that out the way first.

  • I don’t see anything wrong with your request or the time of night you wanted your session to be. If I have a late night session scheduled, I make sure I take a nap earlier in the evening. Once I’m in the session, my focus is on my client, not whether it’s 6pm or 11pm. Maybe that Pro was too caught up in implication and attaching a meaning to the time of night, that you didn’t imply at all.

  • I have had a couple of pros tell me that they don’t like the daytime cuddlers as much because many of them are cheating on their wives and these pros have jobs during the day. Even after telling them that they ask them to ditch work for the afternoon. So the late night = red flag is only true to a pro with that mindset. There are a lot of reasons for late nights besides the negative ones.

I think best to not take it personally. I don't think anything on your message insinuated the cuddle session to be anything more than platonic. I also think it's fair for the pro to insure you realize and check in that you're wanting and respecting the site rules to be platonic.

  • If I had a nickel for every shady request I've received... (and I've only been here for a week!) 🙈😜
It can be challenging to read the intentions of an unvetted stranger with a vague profile & a no name handle, so she was probably just trying to be direct, assertive, clear...
It is unfortunate that so many people (particularly men) aim to take advantage of a well-intentioned offering to connect, but so far that seems to be the norm (at least in my experience), and that gets old really fast.
It's also okay that her energy rubbed you the wrong way & you decided not to book because of it. When this has happened for me, I've simply wished the other person well & kept it moving.
All that said, the number of men who assume this is a secret (non-platonic) sex site really is alarming. I've almost deleted my account a million times over because of it, and like I said, it's only been a week! 🙊🤐🤷‍♀️
I so hope you find your match though! 🙏

  • I would feel like you, (granted I haven’t read your profile to see if there’s anything that prompted them to ask) … but the only reason I would feel like you is because we know ourselves , we know who we are …. But when we take ourselves out of the equation & see thing from their perspective, they truly don’t know who we are … they want clarity / re-assurance / and past experience will play a major role as well, so when we remove our own perspective from the equitation, we value their concern. Plus every one’s comfort level is different and unique, so there’s no justifying if someone’s vetting process is too much or not … it is their own, so it wasn’t a personal thing.

  • I think a lot of people dont even read the reviews someone has. If someone like me has 10+ positive reviews that point out how respectful and nice they are, you shouldnt need to say that. I am very quick to say I have multiple FWB that I get to let it all out on so there is absolutely no need to do anything weird during the session heh.
