Lots of professionals getting banned lately?

Anyone else notice a significant uptick in the bans of professional cuddlers in the last couple months? 2 of my most frequently hired professional cuddlers have been banned recently, and given how hard it is to match with one and build a trusting rapport (especially in my region), I’m quite frustrated. If I had to guess, I’d say the site is trying to crack down on PC’s who don’t use the site’s booking tools to get around the fees the site charges, so while I understand that this is still a business, it’s still upsetting that PCs are taking the blame for this and not clients. If the site is struggling financially, they could certainly explore other avenues instead of banning PCs, in my opinion.

What about you? Have you noticed this in your area?

    How do you know the clients in question aren't being banned as well?

    @CableStone - how do you know the reason for their banning is that they booked off site? How do you know it wasn't because they offered non-platonic services to a client, or some other reason? Some pros get banned for being sex workers because this isn't a site for that. I'm not saying that's why yours were banned, but it definitely happens...

    In principle, clients don't care whether a session is booked on the site or not: it makes no real difference.

    Professionals do care because they have to pay the commission. But it's only 15%, which is startlingly cheap. Not paying it makes no sense at all, providing the site enforces it. If the site does not enforce it, then it's paying it that makes no sense.

    In other words, it is essential for the site both to enforce it and be seen to enforce it.

    Professionals do get banned for this, but not if it's a one-off or a mistake by an inexperienced professional. I understand they get a warning(s) first. Being banned means you're a persistent offender.

    I personally haven’t noticed a recent uptick, but in my observation there’s always been a steady stream of pros getting banned. Booking off site is indeed a common reason, but so is sexual solicitation or linking to sexual content (although in some cases the mods seem to be remarkably tolerant of that).

    In my experience...it takes a lot of hard evidence for someone to get banned. A lot. Bans aren't random crack downs on one offense. They need proof you aren't going to listen to warnings, are selling other things or are dangerous. I've never had a run in on my end with a client misbehaving where the mods haven't asked for evidence or followed up. The mods take their job seriously and unfortunately if your cuddles got banned they were doing something inappropriate in some way shape or form. Mods have no incentive to ban people for no reason. They have no quota and they work for the community. The fact that you are assuming it was for off site booking suggests it was. Also not cool. 15% is the price of a moderate tip. Sliding past that is a little sleazy. IMO.

    P.S. @WriterGF Maybe the OP is one of them? No offense to the OP but it sounds like it.
    P.P.S. What other avenues? This is a booking site (on the pro end). They facilitate the booking the pro pays a minor fee. Usually how things work.

    Respectfully I disagree with your assessment … if infact the reason is for the one you have stated.

    Imagine you being the owner of a restaurant, and the employees , contractors , partners ect happen to be giving away the food for free … what you basically said was , “if the restaurant is hurting financially, than maybe they should ban the customer receiving the free food and not the worker handing out the food out for free”..

    Edit: Also, the site doesn’t have to be “hurting for money” in order to take action against dishonesty, as well as any other business / organization / ect at that.

    I somehow missed this part before. Seems completely out of touch with reality. The pro is deliberately screwing the site out of money, and you want to blame… the client? The person who has zero motivation to take bookings off site and who has no financial relationship with CuddleComfort. Truly strange line of thinking.

    Next up: If Uber drivers manage to circumvent payment through the app to screw Uber over, Uber will punish… the riders! Brilliant.

    If a client messages a pro off site to book a session, the pro can still come to the site and make a booking for the client to accept, so it would only be on the pro for breaking the rules, I believe.

    Edit: Well the client would be breaking the rules too, and the pro could report them for doing that. But if someone was getting banned, it would probably be the pro since they are the ones getting around paying CC.

    I know of a pro that is still on even though she asked someone to bring drugs, and she also said bring extra money for extras. Both people reported her but she still there.

    Since joining the team, the misconceptions about what we do become more and more jarring by day. Contrary to what some may think, we are not cops performing "crack downs" on anything. We either respond to something as we see it on the forums or, more often then not, we're responding to reports. Chances are the PC's mentioned here were reported for any number of reasons. I see it every day. If it sounds unreasonable, it gets skipped, but if there's some merit to the report then we investigate. If they were indeed banned over bookings, then they more likely then not warned multiple times about the issue. I've never seen a case where a Pro was not atleast warned about using the booking panel. No mod has an itchy trigger finger when it comes to handing out bans.

    @CuddleWho In my experience, there's vary little leniency on Pro's who provide sexual content on or off site. Like you said, it's a pretty steady stream of them getting banned.

    Unless you're a Mod or Admin here how would anyone know there are lots of professional getting banned lately? Did someone make a graph or something that I missed? (I like graphs btw.)

    @OhioMike Thanks! It's a bit more difficult to get stats now though, because of some changes to the way search works.

    Well cablestone enlight all of us here and call up your cuddler and ask her why she got banned then you can post it on here for all us to read and that will shed some light as to what happened

    I’ve interacted with some pro who have been banned or paused and i was not given the impression they did anything like booked off site, offered other services or anything like that. I’ve witnessed them coming back other names to eventually be allowed back in the original ( but clearly transparent on profiles about why the name change) and are still in here. As well as some claiming billing issues. I have no real idea and i only heard one side of the story. These weren’t very close personal (or cuddled) relationships. So i say this to say, either they are banned for good reason or dumb mishaps that mean nothing. I think we need to take more of an inventory of what’s really happening or our perception of what’s happening.

    But i haven’t noticed really noticed to much lately, but i know it happens from time to time and i truly don’t know the reason why it happened. So i have to assume, I’d think that or think nothing of it at all.

    You can get banned for simply not paying your fees , with warnings of course , also can get banned for parties exchanging contact info before you book , which is an honest error. Not sure about your person in question tho.

    i believe they give several warnings before actually banning a pro. Did they give you a number to text once you booked a session? I bet they won't mind if you contact them.

    @CableStone In my experience, most Pros get banned for non-platonic rather than fee avoidance.

    After the initial meetup and private numbers are exchanged do all future bookings still have to be done through this website for the 15 percent to be collected? Or if the bookings are done privately is there still a way for the fee to be paid? In other words do all bookings regardless of how many times the pro and cuddler meetup always have to be done through this website?

    @OhioMike I can look through my messages and favorites lists and see a fair number of banned and deleted cuddlers. Now I couldn't say whether this is a recent increase, but it's always surprising to me to see how many cuddlers get banned.

    @Jubal doing the same I don’t see that on my personal messages or lists. However my experience is that brand new pros especially ones posting on forums have maybe a high rate of getting banned. I’m guessing here but it seems they don’t know the rules well or just don’t plan to follow them

    I imagine unless there’s like a state of the company address with facts and figures we the common folks are left guessing about numbers.

    That’s why I liked @respectful posts with numbers etc

    In the Olden times here we use to have a daily thread that welcomed new members to CC. Like 50 to 100 people a day were joining the site then. I imagine now that number is huge Idk , without the numbers and someone like @respectful to crunch them it’s just a guessing game or individual experiences that threads like this come up 🤔

    @snugbuddy yes. Pros have to continuously book through the booking panel for every single cuddle.

    It is strange that you would even come up with people not settling up online. How did you get that idea of the reason banned. If they are making 100 or more and hour they wouldnt have issue paying 15 dollars or so of that.

    @mike1974 it could be a matter of avoiding paying taxes on income in addition to not wanting to pay the 15 percent fee.
