I think they are definitely more like chicken nuggets the more I think about it!
Generally, if i hear nuggets its probably ground meat thats been reconstituted in a shape. Boneless wings in a frozen section are probably nuggets. Boneless wings in a restaurant are probably slices of white meat.
Boneless wings are typically made from chicken breast so they literally are not chicken wings.
However, this fact will not deter me from calling them chicken wings, especially around people who are passionate about not calling them chicken wings 😈

@nilvaz I'm a martial arts teacher and amateur glutton. Lol thats it. I used to eat whole boxes of Mooncakes in a sitting (sweet pastries eaten at the Chinese moon festival that are about 2x2" and 3" thick and 1000 calories each lol - 4 per box). Yum.

I call them boneless wings and prefer them usually but no....totally just chicken nuggets with sauce covering. To be a wing it's kind of missing all the things that would make it a wing.

Boneless chicken wings are a lie! 😜 They will never been chicken wings. On a side note, I went to the Dirty Buffalo in Norfolk this weekend and I highly recommend this restaurant.
