Why is there no ID verification/background check process for pros?

  • @cuddles_ndream - don't poke the bears/trolls/belligerent/illiterate. That's my job. Thanks.

  • Vetting goes both ways, Pro and enthusiast alike. It's a combination of verifying identity, alignment of fit, and mutual vibes. In the end, either party can say "thanks, but not thanks" or nothing - no one is owed a response.

Clients are required to follow the Client Service Agreement, and professionals agree to the Cuddler Contract.

OP has been on the forums and site long enough to know it takes work to make connections.

  • @Artemis795 I don't think clients who get scammed are trying every "flavor" of pro. Each human being has varying degrees of vetting capability. Based on individual chats I've had, some people just don't know any better, possibly due to lack of typical life experience. I appreciated your post and agreed with most of it.

@thatsteveguy @cuddles_ndream is a lot of things, but a snowflake is not one of them. Lol. That's too funny if you know him.

@achetocuddle yes, you’re right in the sense that some people just don’t know what red flags to look for. It’s comparable to a tech savvy individual being able to spot a spam email vs someone tech illiterate.

However, when the when the source of the complaint is “quasi-fake profiles” and “crazy catfishes” then that just tells me the cuddler is probably attracting the energy they're emitting -chaos. And for that, I don’t feel bad.

  • @Artemis795 Regarding your last paragraph, I was thinking the same thing and couldn't think how to say it. +1:

@Artemis795 Well one of my things I look for when I'm about to select someone is if they have a long-drawn out profile like yours with 10 paragraphs of stuff and especially someone who is too scared to give out a google voice number. LOL.

@thatsteveguy since you are now personally attacking good people with stellar reputations, maybe I should point out this sentence which you wrote:

I would just love to have someone over that joined 2 days ago, has zero feedback and nobody has ever heard or could verify who they are.

Hmm.. I wonder why you want those criteria?

And, in case you haven't read the terms for pros, putting a Google voice number or other contact info in a profile is not permitted. All bookings should be happening through the site's booking system. Only after the first session is booked is one allowed to give out a number (or email.)

  • @thatsteveguy k this passive aggressive low key rudeness is not going to help with cuddles. It seems like you want a pro that is verified but also doesn’t care to be professional on her page…. And as it’s been pointed out, we aren’t allowed to have phone numbers on our profiles.

Nonetheless, I understand why ppl want verification from strangers before they come into your personal space but you are coming off like you think your personal belongings are way more important than someone’s physical safety.

If you’re worried about someone stealing from you, spend all your many many monies on a fancy hotel and have them meet you there….

  • Not gonna respond anymore to maximum libtard responses. I’m surprised the thread wasn’t deleted tbh. But I do appreciate some of the fan mail I’ve been getting in support of my views haha.

  • Just a message for everyone: don’t bother adding to this conversation. Steve guy sends you a threatening private message calling you a snowflake and trying to get your number to argue over the phone. A bit unstable. You’ve been warned.

  • Just a message for everyone here: I made absolutely no threats at all, simply said instead of putting me on blast why not DM me if you need to tell me how much you hate me.

Better luck next time. This Libtard just banned your ass for harassing other members.
