To each their own... personal pan pizza.
Now in MY house, I do a deep dish, sausage crust pizza with cheese (and a lot of it), pepperoni and mushrooms. If I want to get fancy I'll add black olives. If I want a semblance of healthy choices, I'll think of kale for .2 seconds and promptly forget about kale.

I like pineapple on pizza, but this is not a hill to die on, you simply don't buy or make something you don't like for your own consumption.
Although, I personally am drawn towards a good balance of meat and veggies on mine... Some "supreme" pizzas are just too heavy on the toppings and can screw with the cooking process - toppings looks cooked, the dough is chewy and undercooked or the toppings are dried up and overdone, but the dough is right.
Ultimately, yay for personal choice.
Pineapple is a prime source of enzymes that break down food and limit gas caused by the grease and meat on a pizza. I imagine those who discriminate and reject pineapple are victims of mud butt.

I just got thru watching an episode of SVU where Fin (Ice-T's character) says it's wrong to put fruit on a pizza. Lol. That reminds me. One time I made a dessert fruit pizza and some of my extended family loved it. And it was so pretty.

Tomato is certainly a vegetable in terms of human consumption. But that doesn't stop it being a fruit in terms of biology. Mushrooms are vegetables in that sense too, and they aren't even plants.

I once had pizza slices dipped in mango/jalapeño salsa. Highly recommended! Fruit goes well with pizza.
