I do not “seek” a connection. I let it grow organically without any expectations.
I dont seek it out , however I don't typically cuddle with someome unless we have a connection
I love to make a connection with them. So far, all of my cuddles have been with some truly wonderful people and I am so grateful to have gotten to meet them. I love the conversations we have and the friendships that have been made. Plus I have met many more people on here and in the forums that I love getting to chat with, even if cuddles aren’t really possible. Something I want to try to start doing is having virtual cuddles with my fellow enthusiasts. I honestly hadn’t even thought of doing that until just now…though I am pretty introverted and my anxiety wouldn’t normally permit that, but some members here have encouraged me to try branching out a bit so it’s definitely something I’ll be considering.
To me it is important for a good session for their to be a connection. As a pro we have to be careful about this though. Some enthusiasts do to. Especially with first time cuddlers or someone who has not had a good connection in a while. I have said it a lot here. The cuddle crush. I think it’s great when two people have a strong connection but some can not distinguish the difference between a connection and a crush. When people start talking about a great connection then the texts start coming more and more, phone calls, feelings get hurt when free sessions, dates, and being on stand by for them is not an option. Not saying this is what you are referring to but this is what scares alot of people. So when people talk about a great connection it does shut alot of people down because we are afraid of hurting people which I believe no one wants to do here. This may be why some may be distancing and or shutting down on some.
100%! I feel more comfortable cuddling with someone that I have a connection with, and I feel like that connection makes the cuddles more amazing! Being an enthusiast, I don't cuddle with people who I don't have a connection with and feel will respect my boundaries.
Sometimes, but not all the time. I feel like my need for a connection fluctuates with my need for the physical aspect of cuddling.
I love having connections with the people I cuddle with. I think it's extremely important to build a rapport and give each other our undivided attention when we're together. My issue as a pro is when a client wants more of my time outside of a scheduled session. I love what I do and I really enjoy spending time with the people I meet here, but I have other jobs, responsibilities, and relationships that require my attention. Checking in every so often - especially on holidays - is nice, but expecting more than that is a bit much given my limited free time.

@cuddler5617 Exactly this.
I need a connection for happy cuddles. Ideally I'd like to become great friends but I haven't found that yet. It's hard sometimes keeping things more transactional than I'd like but I'm greatful for the amount of connection I do get. It is healing.
