    I was baited hard

  • edited December 2022

I don't get it when some claim they overcharge for safety reasons, they are rich people commit crimes, I know one pro she increased her prices because she doesn't want low class clients because they're doggy, she prefers high class clients, however I'm low class and we both best friends

  • Yeah you're going to be hard pressed to find someone who is happy to host or drive to meet a complete stranger for $25-40 hr after our CC fees are taken out.

Lurk more and you'll see how much work goes into a session from the pros end before you even meet and you'll have a much clearer understanding of our rates and why we charge what we do.

It would be cool if there was like an "insurance" for this (like therapy and such), lol

I pay for insurance and pay a lower cost for meetings, and professionals get paid by "the company" what they deserve (which is definitely at least in that $60-$100 range when you factor in everything, if not more)

I think a way I'm looking at it is like, I don't think the rates are good for the consumer, but they are more than fair to the professionals when considering everything all together. I don't think I should have to pay for so much an hour, but I definitely think they should get paid for that much an hour.

  • It’s a service. You don’t go to get a spa treatment or go out and the staff tells you the price and you tell them it’s too high they should lower it. They will tell you to find something within your means or to go somewhere else. Pros have MANY reasons as to why they charge what they do. If you can’t afford it or don’t want to pay that there are plenty of people on this site you can cuddle for free. But to tell someone they should lower their price because YOU don’t want to pay is ridiculous. Just like any job or work you want to be payed decent for your efforts. Same thing goes for charging for travel. You can’t be surprised when pros ask for travel expenses when traveling longer distances. Because either way you’re paying if you drive yourself long distance or paying someone to drive long distance. Be understanding and respectful as this is work or a job for us.

  • @gujunilesh i agree the price is to high, but what your getting if your missing it is priceless. It’s kids like eating healthy food, for some reason it’s much more expensive than the food that will land you in the hospital.

  • I dont charge to cuddle if you're down many way

  • I think of my cuddle time as a healing session. I am a healer, I would charge more for certain types of healing sessions (& not owe a site 15%, lol).
Sinceriously, when I am as present with another soul as I am in my sessions, I can feel what they need & breathe into that. Everywhere my fingertips slow dance, I am healing. Both sensual & nurturing, both gentle & firm... it's worth the price. Anyone who's had a session with me would agree. It's also worth the hotel room and travel fees, when applicable.
It's not within everyone's means, and that's okay. I wish I could get regular spa treatments but I don't knock their prices just because I can't. It's all an energy exchange. Some people have money to share the way I have love & energy to offer. Sometimes i wonder why i don't charge more, haha! 😘

It’s all in what you place value in. I wish I could go for a massage and spa day more regularly than I do… but the prices. It doesn’t work to heckle the spa about that 🤷‍♀️ The cost is what it is.

Then you can consider the self employed side to that. It greatly reduces what a person makes to make that time all about you. Look for an enthusiast if it doesn’t fill your soul to pay for what the pro gives to you 💫

    @SnugglesRus

I don't really agree with the concept of "to make that time all about you" when looking for connections here. that's not really what I would be looking for, and maybe that's why I don't find the value in paying so much haha. it's meant to be more of a mutual thing IMO.

If that's what pros are offering then that's good for people looking for that, but that's not what I think of when looking on this site i guess? and maybe that's just me lol

edit: to explain how i feel further, like, I was really happy to be in a relationship once mostly for the physical aspect of cuddling. I appreciated our time together and I hope that she appreciated it too - but I don't really want to pay someone for that as a job/service, and I don't want it to be all about me. I'm hoping/expecting that both people are looking for the comfort of that, and not really anything more. :)

  • @Gibstack I think most pro cuddlers wouldn't be good for you then. And I'm in the same boat. I don't want to cuddle with someone who is only focused on me.
I want something more mutual. I want to cuddle with someone who is eager to cuddle with me and can't wait for the next time we cuddle. I don't want someone who finishes cuddling and then goes "next!".
So yea that's why I prefer enthusiasts hands down.
But there aren't enough to go around. Not even close. So in that case God bless the pro cuddlers. Some of them do cost a lot but they provide a service you couldn't find just a few years ago. I am grateful they exist.

  • You have the right to complain and express your concerns, but not point of complaining, they are massage therapists charge alot, houses, facilities etc
Best thing to do find affordable prices or negotiate, for me meeting pros are temporary thing, I appreciate their efforts and help and support , till I improve my life and get marriage , life is temporary not a paradise. They are many things to complain about life

You can hire a pro and get a cuddle fairly soon, or look for an enthusiast and maybe get a cuddle a year from now. As for prices, it's like anything else ... if you can't afford it, the service provider is not obligated to lower their price to suit you.

  • Should prices vary with location? For example, higher in Manhattan or San Francisco, but lower in Omaha or Little Rock?

@Melancholy i just added that post to my profile for now, cause it at least hopefully gives anyone who might view my profile a better idea of what i'm looking for on the site. I couldn't really express it before/i hadn't thought of it before, but that's a pretty decent articulation as to why i don't really want to have a session with a pro haha

(still not totally opposed but... yeah)

  • @Gibstack Of course people set their own prices. From that standpoint, why have this discussion in the first place? But if this is a discussion about prices, I sought to add another possible consideration for either establishing or interpreting prices. That's why I posed it as a question.

  • edited December 2022

idk i got very different vibes from your phrasing but i'm just gonna retract my comment if i brutally misunderstood your point. sorry

it's still a fairly obvious question to me though. people will set their own rates. people who get a lot of business in a busy area will keep/raise their rates. people who don't get a lot of business in a rural area will lower them to get more business. in general though they seem to float around the same prices (some high, some low) no matter where you are.

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

@homeboy For what it's worth, I have seen much higher prices for pros in Manhattan than where I am. It's whatever the market will bear.

  • @Gibstack I am on the same page as you regarding not wanting cuddle sessions to be “all about me.” In fact I am generally happy to make a cuddle all about the other person if they seem to want or need that. Most of the time when pros comment on a thread explaining what they offer to try to justify their price, none of what they describe appeals to me at all.

FWIW though sessions with pros don’t have to be like that at all. There are a few pros who have very rigid ideas of how a session should go, but in my experience the large majority are perfectly happy to have a more mutual experience. Now it may seem odd for one party to pay for an experience both enjoy equally (let alone one in which the payee receives the bulk of the emotional benefit), but ultimately I don’t mind.

Cuddling with someone is a luxury. No one ask a nail technician why so high. Or when you go to a fancy restaurant .. why so high.. you either go there or you don’t . When cuddling You’re sharing energy which isn’t a visible exchange but it’s real.
That’s why people have different prices for their energy exchange. 🙂

  • @CuddleWho "...to try to justify their price, none of what they describe appeals to me at all" Yeah; if someone is selling me (as in "being a salesperson") themselves on here, they've probably already lost my interest.

I feel like I'm not articulating that right, but, oh well, lol

  • This is probably just me in the minority again, but I have to reiterate: The comparisons of going to a fancy restaurant or whatever else just don't make sense to me. I'm not going to the fancy restaurant so that they can enjoy bringing me fancy food. I would not hire someone to come repair my roof just because the repairperson would enjoy doing it.

I am looking for people on this website who would mutually benefit from the physical touch that me and the other person would be providing for each other.

If pros are selling that service and people are buying it, that's good for them - but I'm surprised that that's the primary appeal to people I guess

  • @Gibstack Glad I could help

  • @neffik

Cuddling with someone is a luxury

No it most definitely is not. I am really skeptical you actually believe this. Physical contact with others is a fairly basic need humans have, not as fundamental as food or shelter but still pretty important.

Moreover it’s also something that nobody ever thought about charging for prior to maybe a decade ago.

Plus the most obvious question that pops up, even if cuddling is “a luxury”… and we’re both receiving that “luxury”… why should I pay you rather than vice versa?! Or, hey, better yet, why not just both cuddle together with no payment exchanged? You know, the way every human who ever lived did it prior to 2012.

It’s a funny thing, on my own I’m perfectly fine with seeing and paying pro cuddlers. Then I come to the forum and read what you all have to say about pro cuddling and why you charge X amount and it makes me want to never give you a dime 😂

Gibstack and others who commented on that comment…I don’t think what I meant by all about you came across as I intended it to.

Good pros are in it because they love it and (hopefully) are gifted at filling your soul. So, in that respect, of course it is mutual. There is give and take and it is like a dance… but better 😃.
That said, I am a pursue your passion kind of person. All of my income is from “jobs” that I LOVE. It fills my soul. We could say there is a mutual benefit with ALL of my income. An example of that, I am a private chef. I love my job so much that it doesn’t feel like work. However, I couldn’t give the time to it if I were not paid. Additionally, I have to set the price of my work with both demand / going rate and cost of living in mind for the hours I put in. It really is as simple as that.

As an enthusiast, you pick and choose and limit a lot based on personal needs / wants / time /etc, and know it will be mutual. As a pro, a person can still pick and choose with time put in but is also able to offer more hours and a person paying, while usually is mutual in the cuddle, does often have more expectations. A pro IS there to serve and meet personal needs. We pour out and it is a very rewarding giving, because awesome cuddlers 🥰.

All are labeled as “pros” when they are not they just paid a member for that title in this website. I think 30-40 is fine for a beginner and as they gain experience 50-60+ sounds reasonable. Thats just my two cents imo

At the end the day it's not pros fault, it's some clients fault, because they are ready to pay alot money for thier beautify, I have noticed many pros reduced their prices to a reasonable prices, to get more clients. I'm the type of person who is not willing to pay more than reasonable price even if she's beautiful .
They're many stupid men wasting alot money for their needs, and they will be acountble for wasting money on silly things even in shopping while many people not finding what to eat
