Bad karma when things go sour?

Just received bad karma, made me wonder, when do you leave bad karma? Would you leave it to someone you never met?

  • It seems like she didn’t like the way you phrased questions and she jumped to conclusions. I think you read the room right because you too probably weren’t clicking. It seems very odd that she’d leave bad karma based on that so it’s hard for me to believe there isn’t much more to the story. But i based my original thoughts on her words.

    If you make ladies feel the way she described, i totally understand why she left karma.

    You aren't allowed to leave Karma for somebody you haven't met. (Except in the case of a no-show.)

    You can reply to Karma that people have written for you, so you can provide context for what they have written.

    False, misleading or malicious Karma is routinely deleted by the mods.

    Writing bad Karma - which must still be true and fair, and in my opinion should also be polite - is most suited to a situation wherein a person has not broken the terms of service, but has displayed behaviour which is undesirable.

  • Unfortunately there’s nothing more to the story, still got the text thread.

  • Honestly, you have two bad karmas and you also have this written in your “about me” section:

    P.S. Why do people choose to ignore emails? Isn’t it easier to send a note back declining the cuddle request? Kindness is sexy by the way!

    First off, having multiple bad karmas makes it look like you are the problem.
    Secondly, having a passive aggressive sentence like this in your about me gives off a bad vibe
    Third, “kindness is sexy”?… so just genuine politeness is a sexual thing to you?

    I don’t know. Maybe you’re just being a funny goofball but the whole vibe is off to me. Then you make a thread to talk about it. 🤔

  • Hard to tell without knowing the actual communication. If someone suggested a session which violated TOS, I'd report them before bothering with the karma.

  • @Sheena123 maybe “kindness is sexy” is not the best way to describe it. Thanks for pointing it out, will delete that line.

  • She did mention in her karma that no violation to tos, so it’s weird karma in my mind.

    I think manners and kindness is sexy too.

  • @BashfulLoner glad someone else thinks that, apparently others think it’s suggestive. Went ahead and removed it anyway.

  • @samcuddles80 - I’ve got to agree with @Sheena123 on this one. While your comment may have been innocent, it creates some doubt / ambiguity about your intentions.

  • @samcuddles80, since you never met neither of you should have left karma for the other. You should flag/report the karma she left you and, once it’s removed, you should delete the karma you left her. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

  • you have two negative reviews so i’m just gonna go ahead and take her side lol, where there’s smoke there’s fire.

    @mimtheplantmom right?

    Yup, not just two bad Karmas but two in one week. That’s a pretty high rate.

    Don’t worry about why someone doesn’t email you back. These people don’t owe you anything. You act as if receiving a message from you is so valuable that you’re now entitled to a response. You are entitled to nothing. Show respect, restraint and patience; just move along.

    All of these things taken together paint a picture of you.

  • Maybe a mod should weigh in on how to go about challenging a bad karma.
    @Sideon @Babichev @netrunner

    Also. It's your second bad one, you gripe in your profile about how you feel wrongfully treated in a passive aggressive manner , and in the.comtext of a thing that strives to maintain platonic boundaries and struggles with the identify sometimes assumed of it , describing something as sexy on your profile does come across a certain way, whether your intent or not

  • . . . Aaaaaaaand OP profile says "deleted"

    Is that a record time?

  • Yeah but did he delete out of frustration from this thread? I think he had a genuine question and we hit him with you’re a bad guy response

  • He had a genuine question; and I think it’s not okay to leave karma for someone who haven’t met; also I got bad vibes from him. He could have addressed the concerns we brought up. Maybe it wasn’t a big misunderstanding.

    @BashfulLoner I didnt really see anybody bashing him . This isn't a case of people gaining up on a guy for being a guy . I realize there seems to be some sensitivity about that in the forums these past few days ,but I didnt see any inappropriate or mean responses. I saw honesty . Might have deleted his profile to start over fresh based on the bad karmas , and what was said re his profile wording etc. If that's the case then good luck next time.

  • @Syins i agree with you about not leaving karmas based on texting only, never having met. I thought they were meant as a review of actual cuddle session.
    Lots of misunderstandings happen based on poor word choice, missing punctuation, misspellings, etc. I would need to see more and agree that we clearly don’t know the whole story.

  • Well I guess the fact that he can delete and just make a new account shows there’s really no accountability in the karma system. Except maybe for pros because we can’t as easily delete and re-make an account. But clients? 🤷‍♀️ Guess they can do whatever

  • @bobadevotee - not true. If they attempt another account they'll be found. Just like in Highlander ... "there can be only ONE" account.

  • @sideon how would it be determined if someone is starting another account if they use technology that obscures who they are?

  • @Syins - we have ways.

  • I didn’t delete my account to start another. Just wanted a pause from all the negative opinions and self appointed judges that seem to have flooded this discussion.
    Few things:
    1- When I say that it’s kind to return an email, that doesn’t mean I’m ENTITLED to a response, all I’m saying that leaving people hanging is not particularly kind, that’s all!
    2- Saying kindness is sexy is not a sexual innuendo, when I say this is a sexy car, I won’t be sleeping with it anytime soon.

    Please try and look at things from my perspective before passing judgments. Hope you all have a wonderful 2023.

    Saying "xyz is sexy" is problematic on a platonic site. Be aware of your words, people.

  • @samcuddles80 i agree with you in the sexy word and kindness/manners. But i also wouldn’t use it on Cc because like @Sideon said, words. Have to consider the receiver.

  • @BashfulLoner very true, I removed it earlier when someone mentioned it. I still stick to my opinion that it was not intended as an innuendo.

  • I don't think Karma should be left at all if you haven't met the person(except for no-shows). Misunderstandings over text happen all the time. If you believe they said something that breaks ToS, just report it to the mods.

    @samcuddles80
    I agree with you about the ‘kindness is sexy, a car is sexy’ comment. Using ‘sexy’ that way has been an expression forever! It’s not to be taken literally.
    But on this site, I get that we want to be extremely careful to not imply any sexual activity. I just would never judge someone on that expression.
    And in general, way more kindness and empathy would be a nice change.

  • @carrieanne Amen to that! She posted karma based on what she perceived or as she said insinuated, didn’t know people can be mind readers through text. I never suggested or even asked about anything inappropriate.
