I am very proud of getting through 2022! I dealt with an enlarged prostate for five months and the passing of a friend who was involved in a motorcycle accident in August
I stepped out of my comfort zone and started cuddling on here. I am a very reserved, very shy, and rather lonely so I'm trying to break out of my introverted shell, lol. Ive met some great friends and hopefully more to come

I survived
At first I had a hard time thinking of something to write, but then it hit me:
I'm proud that I went through and made a dream that seemed like a crazy idea come to fruition. That was to take a trip this past summer all the way to Norway to go to a singing retreat while at the same time meeting and staying in the home of one of my favorite musicans/guitar heros (The Commander in Chief - Berit Hagen). It was so nice to meet the family, explore a new hemisphere, continent, and country, as well as make friends with their dog. It started out as "well that would be nice but there's no way that will happen" to slowly little by little joking about it and then actually making it happen. It also happened to be the first time I ever took a trip by myself without any friends, family, or school related people, as well as my first ever trip to Europe in general. It was exciting and maybe a little bit scary at first, but I'm really glad I did it and made it there and back.
In early 2022 I was promoted to a new position at my job. This position has given me the opportunity to grow professionally and personally, while making significant contributions to the lives of others.
