Cuddler requesting cuddles for someone else

I recently had a peculiar interaction. A man messaged me and asked me how much I charge. I say nothing because I'm not a professional cuddler. I assume he's just on the wrong side of the site. Then he says his wife is looking for someone to cuddle for training because she's looking to start a cuddling business. His profile says he's single. I asked why didn't his wife make a profile, but I haven't heard back from him yet.

My gut is telling me something is off, so I won't be meeting him, but what's his angle? Is it common to request cuddles for someone else? I would just rather communicate with the potential cuddler directly, not a middleman.

    Yup, doesn’t sound right, always trust your gut. You should report him too, he could be a rapist or something like that.

    Sounds highly suspicious. Perhaps to avoid you vetting him well?
    Who knows without him being forthright with information. I personally would not agree to a third party cuddle.

    Report it. It's not necessarily one report that gets someone banned. I've made gray area reports and over time, most of them end up banned.

    I can just about imagine somebody enquiring on behalf of somebody else, but it wouldn't sound anything like that.

    The mods have said it repeatedly: if in doubt, Report. It helps them to spot patterns of behaviour.

    I’m not sure there even is a third party. Certainly suspicious and I would report it.

    @Melancholy, @Rezz I was thinking it was some sort of fetish as well. There are definitely better places than CuddleComfort to find someone for that.

    That seems so odd. Plus, his profile doesn't match his facts of being married and if such a weird thing was true, he should've put it in his profile. The biggest thing that came to mind as follow your intuition.

    He responded with a link to an Instagram page for the business and said she needed clients, but still didn't give a reason why his "wife" doesn't have an account on here. I've since blocked him.

    I wish people were just honest. He obviously just wants to see 2 women in his bed “cuddling”. One of them being someone he knows.

    @unsocial_bee, I would guess that this person is experimenting with gender identity or, at the very least, enjoys cross dressing. I have received similar requests with a similar scenario.

    I am on the side if this being a fetish... who knows what he will be doing while you are busy "teaching" the wife how to cuddle. He could also be abusive and forcing this on his wife and that could be the reason the wife is not contacting.
    All the way around bad vibes and red flags

    I used to have a request from a step- daughter who lives in CA booked me for a cuddle session for her step-father in DC , as her mom ( her step father ‘s wife who they have been married for 40 years ) passed away , and she doesn’t want her step dad feel too down and lonely …
