Do the people requesting for cuddling services go through a back ground check or something? How about the person just got out of prison for murder?
Every pro / Enthusiast is able to (and allowed) to ask for a background check of anybody who requests a booking, or would like to cuddle with them. You have that right as well.
The site does not do background checks, so vet carefully and go slow.
I would recommend searching for and reaching out to people yourself, rather than just waiting for messages. Better cuddle partners generally aren't being hawk-eyed for new cuddlers.
@LoveLife5 If you were released, no one need know. 😉😆

@LoveLife5, this is a social media site. Instagram and Twitter don't do background checks on their users, and neither does Cuddle Comfort. Your safety is your responsibility.
Somebody just out of prison for murder is not the kind of person you really need to worry about. And, I would suggest, they are likely to more in need of a cuddle than most of us!

Bad people usually would never join a site like this. Probably less than 1%. I have been on the Internet since the mid 90s. I know everything about people online and I talked to almost every personality. But they would join a dating site.
Bad people usually would never join a site like this.
Speak to a few women on here and see if you still stand by that statement.
Yes, I have to disagree - there are touch-starved, lonely and vulnerable people here. That's a buffet for a predator. There's no reason to believe there aren't as many negative people here than anywhere else on the net.
It also depends on the area. Some women may live in bad neighborhoods or major cities, which would have a much higher chance of getting the wrong person.
Definitely trolling. No way rich neighborhoods are filled with safe people.

I use Spokeo, it pulls up all information and has a section for if they have a criminal background and how many offenses that are on their record.
It's a bit overkill to do all of that. But if it makes you feel safer.
I never had an issue with anyone I met in person on the Internet in over 25 years.
@nycuddlerny - Maybe because you're a man? Ask the mods how many dick pics are sent through this site. There's many more men here looking for sex.
It could be because of the Covid the uptick. A lot of people trapped in their house last few years.
@nycuddlerny I look at it this way. Some folks do commodities, some only blue chips, and others only T-Bills. All can be valid depending on the person and their situation. No one size fits all.
What oh Earth does Covid have to do with anything? This is an obvious troll.
Well if you are home more because of Covid, wouldn't you use the Internet more?
@nycuddlerny
No one cares. You're a man who has never been assaulted by someone on the internet. Here's your trophy 🏆. Now kindly find somewhere else to troll.
What does this troll stuff mean? I had the Internet since the mid 1990s. I think my opinion is valid. At least as valid as yours and anyone else's.
What does troll mean?
@nycuddlerny - There were sexual predators way before Covid was a thing. Somebody who is a predator is going to use the internet to find his next victim whether or not there are Covid restrictions. Jesus christ.
Use Google to define it for you since you're so web savvy.
Figure out what you want and looking for, ask the right questions, and reach a mutual agreement. You can find out a lot about a person by communicating with one another.
But you probably have an uptick because you have more people home and online.
Yes, WK. I never had any issue with anyone because I talked to them a lot before I ever met them in person. I took every precaution for over 25 years. I never had an issue. If someone was online I didn't feel right about, I just broke off contact. It has worked every time.
@nycuddlerny - There is absolutely no correlation between Covid/more people being home and the number of sexual predators. People don't decide to become a predator because they are home more.
Hmm. I get the distinct impression someone lives under a bridge and charges travelers to cross it.
It’s hard to tell who’s trolling and who’s being serious on the forums, because I don’t know the person and it’s hard to get someone’s vibe over text. But, assuming not a troll:
@nycuddler: There are lots of accounts from women claiming to have had their fellow male cuddlers push for something sexual (these people should be banned), or worse, commit SA against them (these folks should be terminated). I believe a lot of it has to do with how one vets, as there’s good evidence to suggest those who vet well tend to have good experiences. But, nit everyone knows how to vet well and/or read people. Additionally, pros don’t have all the time in the world to message someone for an extended period of time if they are trying to make money. But either way, the responses from the forum seems to indicate that well above 1% of members are bad actors.
@sunnysideup I know what you mean! Its gotten to where some people I won't take seriously anymore, I assume they're always trolling or making a joke out of everything. I used to have a friend like that, who joked about everything, but he was molested as a kid and that's how he coped with things. But it sure made it hard to have a decent conversation with him.
This website does not do any background checks. You are responsible for your safety. Here are a few steps you can take 1. Precreen: Do a video call or a phone call before the meeting 2. Meet in a neutral public location 3. Have a safety person share the basic information of the person you are with, the address of where you will be and when you are done by, you can also share your location on find my friends or a similar app 4. conduct a background check: if you are really concerned you can run a criminal background check. I personally don't believe in criminal background checks because I hate the criminal justice system, and there are plenty of good people with a criminal record and plenty of bad people without a record. I trust my gut over the criminal justice system, when it comes to judging a person
If you say it's above 1% I will believe you but I am very surprised.
