Outfits

As I enter my maturing cocoon once again I am thinking about my style of dressing or lack thereof. Covid made me into a comfort creature of sweats and hoodies.
Two questions?
What are you wearing a far as outfits?
Has anyone ever used cuddle therapy by going shopping, basically shopping therapy with a cuddle buddy?

  • I nearly always dress for comfort. It's a priority in life. 😁

As far as "cuddling outfits", I typically wear soft leggings and a soft thin hoodie or athletic shirt. For group cuddles, I have taken to wearing a t-shirt with cuddling otters on it. 😊

I guess you could say I've gone shopping with a cuddle buddy, yes! We went to buy a pillow, blanket, and snacks at two different stores, before our cuddle. It was really fun!

  • @SunsetSnuggles that is a good way to set up a great cuddle time.

Since I’ve been working from home for a long time, style has gone out the window. for me it’s all about comfort, so it’s always sweats and usually a flannel of some kind or t shirts in the summer.

  • @lonelytauros I hear you. I found myself for awhile looking for the most comfortable t shirt with The best saying on it for like 6months. Had to fit my dad bod perfectly. Lol I would ask the store person, do you think this t shirt would look ok on me.

  • just FYI when cuddling women, those seamless camis (they're more like tank-tops) have to be the softest piece of clothing in existence, even my softest t-shirts don't come feel like those

  • Pajama bottoms & a t-shirt for cuddling.

  • My outfits are now more dressy - casual. My heels/boots/tennis shoes and stylish shoes and oh yes sandles all now have to be comfortable first but with atleast a lil style. But I definitely dress more on the comfort side for cuddling.

  • I have an absurd amount of outer wear particularly for living in the south so any chance to keep my hoodies jackets and sweaters in rotation , which is one of the reasons I keep my house at 65 year round

  • Just skirts and tanks for me, and of course leggings. Cute boots with a slight heel for the random click, and my jacket.

Shopping cuddle therapy sounds fun but I think I could easily max out biaccident doing that, lol.

Definitely some good ideas. Comfort is part of this thing. Not just when cuddling but even when your not. I was told looking good makes you feel good. One day Ill burn my sweats and spend a check to look in the mirror at myself and have respect for my look from my feet to my neck.
BTW you are all looking good out there. Keep it up, if you dont see it, change it up!

  • It'd be easier to help with recommendations if I knew what you looked like so i can suit it to ur body type. A shopping trip would absolutely be fun but I wouldn't charge you for it lol best tip I have is to measure yourself. Sizes are different from store to store but if you know your measurements their size guides would be more helpful.

If looking for softness I've found "jersey knit" or "modal" material to be best. Avoid polyester if you sweat easily/a lot as it does not absorb moisture. I found a tank/jogger set in the soft material and I bought multiple sets in different colors to mix and match with other tops.

There are outfit subscriptions like Stitchfix and Amazon that send you pre-coordinated outfits to try and then you keep or send them back.

@ClubSamwiches online clothing can be a nightmare due to my shape.

@BgstickTeddyBea thats the beauty of being able to send back. You plug in your measurements and body type to help

  • Lounge pants and tank tops. This cuddlers max comfy threads :)

That would induce stress for me. I like to shop for things if I am in the mood, but usually alone. I know what looks good on me and what doesn’t and I am particular. Having another voice can become irritating, not because I am set in my ways in clothes, but because I am focused and not there to socialize at that time. I also know what’s in my closet already and I usually like three shirts that will go with each pair of pants I own. So there are logistical reasons for shopping alone.

  • Mostly jeans & t-shirts for me. Sweats or lounge pants for cuddling.

  • There’s nothing that thrills me more than taking a man shopping and finding him some stylish clothes. Actually a client and I did spend the day together shopping and I had a blast helping him find clothes. The great part was we got to cuddle all day while we were shopping. I’m kind of against being super trendy because I think it’s a lot of work and I think it just adds to looking like everyone else. I think it’s best to be different and have your own personal style. You gotta own it.

  • I helped my friend who had a boring style find a beautiful outfit for a summer wedding and everyone said how wonderful he looked.

I think it's fun to go window shopping with women if it's for them because I have fun giving my opinion whether it's clothing or home decor, I wouldn't want to do it shopping for me though because I'd feel like they were bored even if they're not

  • What do you think about any combination below?

    What about these?

    Not my ankles btw

    Oh I hate shopping.

If I find one size/brand of jeans that fits and wears well I grab as many pairs as I can afford. Boot cut for sure, I hate the skinny leg style.

T-shirts, henleys, and very occasionally a sweater or hoodie.

And, if it has a itchy tag on it anywhere those things get ripped or cut out immediately.

I do not have to dress up for work and that is what I am most comfortable in anyway.

I have been known to combine yoga pants with carhartt bibs and muck boots if I need to.

  • @emiilyy that is a nice combination, definitely.
@KYtransplant I used to wear bibs. I may grab a pair just becuase I miss the good feeling wearing them me.

  • Anyone cuddling in a sports jersey today?
