I've been playing around with an Artificial Intelligence program called ChatGPT, which generates text based on a huge amount of data it has been trained on. I asked it to generate a scenario where a first time client meets a professional cuddler, with some clues to point it in the right direction (e.g. "There is no kissing." It took some convincing!).

Here are three of its responses.

(It tends to make up garbage sometimes too, like some impossible cuddle positions which I'll put in another post).

Story 1

Colin stepped out the car and nervously trekked up the porch steps. He hesitated for a moment before pressing the doorbell and mentally rehearsing for a third time the polite introduction he had prepared for the professional cuddler inside. He heard a soft pattering of footsteps from within and a voice from the other side of the door calling out, "Coming!"

Miriam opened the door, smiled warmly at Colin, and welcomed him inside. "Hi! You must be Colin. I'm Miriam," she said.

Colin could feel himself blushing faintly, but he forced a polite smile regardless. "Yes, that's me," he said.

"Well, it's nice to meet you," she said, ushering him inside.

Through the living room and into the bedroom they went. Colin cleared his throat as he reached into his pocket to pull out the payment, which Miriam accepted gruffly but with a kind and understanding expression. She reassured him of the non-sexual, platonic nature of the cuddle and made Colin feel much less nervous.

They took a seat next to each other and Colin felt Miriam's hand move to his lower back and start stroking in small circles, warming and comforting him. She moved around behind him and curled herself around his back like a crescent, her hands running through his hair over and over and her face nestling peacefully in the crook of his neck. His body relaxed into her touch. They stayed like that for a few moments, just enjoying the presence of one another in the warm, comforting embrace.

Miriam broke the silence and suggested another type of cuddle. She carefully moved them into the 'Sweetheart Spoon' position; Colin in the bigger spoon position, with Miriam tucked neatly into his chest, her hands roaming up and down his arms. When she realized Colin was still a bit tense, she ran her fingertips along his shoulders and temples, teasing his hair gently, humming in contentment every now and then.

After staying in the Sweetheart Spoon position for a couple of minutes, Miriam, noticing Colin had softened and relaxed into the embrace, gently pulled them into the 'Butterfly Cuddle' position - Colin lying on his back with her on her side, also facing up, their arms spread out like wings and their legs intertwining. Her hands began to move down his torso and Colin felt his stress and unease melting away from her clever, caring touch.

For their final position, they nestled into each other, chest to chest, with their arms intertwined and their legs twisted together. Miriam rested her head on Colin's shoulder, her face gentle and content, and spoke to him in whispers, reassuring him of her warmth and care. Within minutes, Colin felt totally at ease. Her words, her contacts and her emotions had melted his nerves away and he found himself feeling brighter, more alive, and more in tune with his body than ever before.

As they parted, Colin thanked Miriam warmly, clearly feeling the effects of their cuddle session. He left feeling rejuvenated and recharged, his head held a touch higher and with a new appreciation for professional cuddling.

Story 2

Jemma opened the door to her cuddle client, Dan. She gave him a warm smile and invited him in. After saying hello, he stepped cautiously inside, a bit unsure of what to expect. He nervously asked Jemma if this was his first time visiting a professional cuddler. She assured him it was ok, that everyone was a little anxious, and handed him the contract to sign and the payment.

She then led him through to the bedroom and settled him into the bed. She began to explain the do's and don'ts of professional cuddling – being respectful, being platonic, maintaining no sexual contact. He nodded along, feeling a bit more relaxed.

Jemma decided to try a few different cuddle positions. In the first one, she lay behind him, her head resting on his shoulder, and one arm hugging him around the waist. She began rubbing his arms and caressing his side. With the other hand, she began playing and bunching up the hair at the back of his head. She whispered gentle words of encouragement and reassurance. Dan felt himself relax into the embrace, finally letting go of all his worries and anxieties and feeling safe and held in the moment.

For their next cuddle, Jemma lay on her side, facing towards him. With one arm she drew him into her chest and encircled him, her other arm embracing him around his back whilst his arm rested on her waist. She held him close to her, and began running her fingers gently over his back, reassuring and calming him. This was a position Dan was familiar with, and he felt the comfort of the embrace settle into his heart.

Finally, for the third cuddle, Jemma lay on her back, making a space for Dan to gently rest on top of her. She had one hand stroking his arm, and with the other she hugged him around his shoulders and nuzzled her head into his. Dan felt soothed and at peace, the warmth of Jemma's embrace washing away his stress.

As they cuddled, Dan thanked Jemma for her kindness and understanding and expressed his eagerness to come back next week. She thanked him for his kind words and reassured him that she was always here for him when he needed it. After lying in each other's embrace for a while longer, Dan thanked Jemma again and they parted ways.

Story 3

Jacob arrived at Jakeina's house feeling a little nervous. She was an experienced professional cuddler, and he had never visited one before. She answered the door and welcomed him in with a warm smile.

"Hi Jacob," she greeted. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll feel more comfortable soon. Come in and let's start the session."

He stepped inside and followed her to the bedroom. Jacob pulled out the envelope of cash from his pocket and handed it to her. She accepted it graciously and placed it away.

"Now, Jacob, cuddling with me is meant to be a completely platonic and non-sexual experience," she said reassuringly, "so no need to be nervous."

With those words of reassurance, he relaxed a little and got onto the bed. Jakeina came to sit beside him and snuggled into his arms, her head resting gently against his chest. He felt her supportive hands rub circles on his shoulders as they relaxed into their first cuddle position.

Their second position was in the spooning position – Jakeina was the spoon and Jacob was the big spoon. She curled her arm around him, and Jacob enjoyed the feeling of her warm, comforting body against his own. Her fingers lightly stroked his arm, and he felt his tension melting away.

For their third position, Jakeina sat back with her legs crossed, and Jacob sat facing her. She placed her hands on his shoulders and looked into his eyes with a kind, reassuring smile. Jacob felt safe and supported, and Jakeina gently massaged his shoulders and arms with her hands, and delicately traced his face with her fingertips. He felt a deep sense of connection and trust.

Throughout their cuddling session, Jacob felt safe and loved. He was amazed at the strength of the feelings that Jakeina had been able to access with just her touch and words. He thanked her profusely after the cuddle and declared that he had had a wonderful experience.

"Thank you, Jacob," she replied, smiling. "It was my pleasure. I'm glad you enjoyed it."

Jacob nodded, feeling content and relaxed. He hugged Jakeina once more, and then made his way out of the house with a spring in his step, feeling renewed with a newfound inner peace.
