I have stayed in multiple treehouses as a guest. One that was particularly awesome was in Colombia. I had hitchhiked a sailboat from Panama. My friend from Germany happened to fly into Colombia the same hour I arrived by a boat I had been living on for a month. My sister realized we were both arrived in Colombia at the same time. I went and stayed with her for three weeks in a treehouse community. There were three treehouses and a common kitchen. I got to stay in all of them throughout the three weeks I was there. Was truly amazing.
In Thailand I also stayed in a treehouse. I had finished a Vipassana. I had about a week until my flight. Someone else who had sat during the Vipassana invited me to stay in their treehouse. I had it to myself for a few nights when they went to an Ayahuasca ceremony. It was made from all wood from the land built by the man who lived there and another Thai native man. There was no hardware such as screws and nails. Everything was tied together by twine and there were no walls so I'm the rainstorms it was pretty wild. There was a metal roof besides that everything came right from the land the treehouse was built on.

I'd love to go to Costa Rica and be a part of something that seems so wholehearted and mindful.... hmmmmm that seems like it would need a little more planning. Again I say WOW!

I want one sooooo badly. As it is I have a roof deck overlooking the mountains. I've considered that for the summer but idk yet. I'd have to drag myself to the fourth floor. I try to avoid that at all costs.
