Travel destinations for a cuddle pro ✈️🌈💕

  • I’m guessing areas with a decent population but not necessarily a lot of tourism would be ideal. When a traveling cuddler comes to my area they stand out quite a bit because the cuddler list gets fairly stale with locals. When I lived in the Bay Area though, many of the cuddlers were not locals as well so it’s probably hard to stand out.

  • This may be biased, but Chicago is a pretty big city and I'd love if there were more cuddlers (pro and enthusiasts as well as group meet ups) nearby. :3

    @FunCartel

    Advanced bookings before going anywhere is the way to go.

    especially with clients that are not time wasters that cancel their bookings with zero regard to how much that negatively affects the pro

  • @Erin_Elle_ just my .02, but as an out of towner asking for a deposit you're already disqualifying yourself from contention to a lot of potential clients. This isn't a judgement on your business model (which isn't anybody's business but yours), just a humble opinion. Also, come to Florida 😊

    I think my house would be a really great destination.

  • I love reading all these thoughts. 🤗

    Slightly off-topic, but I forgot how much of a drag flying is! It takes SO long and I feel like a prisoner! (I’m currently on a plane, waiting on the tarmac in Austin.) 💀 I may stick to travel cuddling around Texas!!!

  • @Erin_Elle_ Try taking 4 or 5 flights in a week like I do frequently. Next week I fly into Atlanta Sunday night, fly to Baltimore on Monday Night, then Jacksonville on Tuesday and back out to KC on Friday. So much fun doing this routinely for over 20 years. People think it’s glamorous—it’s not.

    I do not understand how you can do so much flying! I hate flying... Does that mess with your internal clock or are you just used to it by now after 20+ years of it?

    @Erin_Elle_
    Haha yeah, every time I have to fly somewhere I'm thinking I just need to never go anywhere again :3 But then I forget and make the same mistake all over again.

  • I recommend LA and SF.

    NYC is also nice but travel logistics can be difficult if you’re taking the subway.

    I do not recommend Denver, it’s scarce out here compared to any other city I’ve travelled to.

  • @Charlie_Bear I deal with architects and commercial designers and it is very project driven. So I might have a presentation @ 8 AM, another at 11 AM then a mad dash to the airport. For every day you get in at 7 PM there are delays that get you in at midnight. It is what it is and yes you do get used to it. What I can’t get used to is the summer traveling when so many families and newbies travel which adds to the waiting.

  • @Sweetheart999

    That’s interesting to hear about Denver! California was not successful for me.

  • @Erin_Elle_ where did you go in California? I recommend Emeryville right outside of SF. Not in the city, near Oakland too etc.

  • Southeastern Pennsylvania. Hershey, Harrisburg, and Lancaster have a lot to offer.

  • @stormydaycuddle What's wrong with the city? 🥲

    I went to LA last week, Thurs-Mon. I stayed in Topanga. I messaged with sooo many cuddlers and did a handful of zoom calls before I went. Everyone sounded interested but no one scheduled with me in advance of my trip and I really didn’t get serious last minute requests, either! I ended up meeting one person for cuddles. The whole trip was fun, don’t get me wrong… I found other things to do… but it was not profitable… and I’m not setting foot in CA ever again. 😅😭😂

    @cde123 some people don’t like commuting in but people in are more willing to cross the bridge to Emeryville. So it’s kinda a better spot to be in the middle of everything and out of the way. Thinking about doing my 3 week cuddle tour of the Pacific NW again this year. It was so much fun last time.

  • @Erin_Elle_ If you do change your mind and decide to come back, maybe next time instead of a freak winter storm to deal with, you can come and experience the much more frequent wildfires that grace us seemingly year round.

    I don't touch LA/Cali area often for just that reason. That and it was one of the few times I was sexually assaulted by a client. The attitude is different around our country. Lots of sub culture that can be difficult to process.

    Add traffic and ego .... Over priced hotel locations ... Over priced food/drinks.... (Mostly) Underwhelming people with no respect for my time .... No thanks. I went there 4 years ago and haven't since, so who knows.

    💕💕 If I end up in California again for cuddling, I will be doing a city not so populated. If any of you cali people have suggestions for good cities there - im all ears. Lol I know there are tons of great people there too!! Just saying the blunt version of things 💕💕

  • @MissAdventurous If I was SA’ed here I wouldn’t be too fond of it either 😭 I swear we are not all bad

    @Charlie_Bear LOL oh yeah nothing like a random guy in a thousand dollar suit rip down my tank top and say "nice tits." 5 minutes into the session.

    SMH. Like I don't already know. 🤣🤣 That was the day I learned to wear sports bras under my tank top for cuddling VS. just having a built in bra in the top. 😝 Learning curves in life for ya.

  • Well, if anyone comes to Jacksonville, FL .. I'm here LOL

  • @MissAdventurous
    omg, somehow I had missed your response, but that is horrible... I hope he's gone now.

  • I spent this past weekend in Orlando after hearing from multiple people that they want to schedule cuddles. I had only one from this site and one from outside this site. With hotel, food and fees paid I broke even, and I'll consider that a win. I had someone cancel on me who I have spoken to for months and also had a not-so-pleasant experience with a 1st time cuddle. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to go again.

  • @Erin_Elle_ I've had similar experiences living near LA. San Diego has been pretty solid for serious bookings but I'm sure they have some of the same non-committal issues at times too.
