Picture… a smile is worth its weight in gold. A profile description that has some effort put into it. Doesn’t have to be an autobiography, but more than just a couple words or worse, nothing at all! And lastly, karma!
On a personal level: The vibe of their picture more than any particular feature. The thought put into their profile more than the content itself. Being able to debate with kindness and empathy in the forums. Displaying something unique or unexpected either in a profile picture or comment that catches my eye. Showing we have something in common, particularly from certain niche interests/communities.
As a professional: Having a profile picture of themselves. Actually having something written in the profile that is more than a single generic sentence.
A well written semi-detailed profile that gives me a glimpse into who they are...but doesn't read like a resume.
@stormblessed Not sure if mine is hitting those levels. I got asked so many random things when I joined this site that I figured it would save people time to have the information on hand lol
@Calibrate715 I don’t think you need to worry about yours mines hitting on zero cylinders. I’ve got no profile pic no description I think I filled out some of the basic general info I don’t feel anybody’s worth my time or effort to fill out any more than that haha jk lol 😂
I have no idea why people look at mine there is nothing there. Guess props to my mildly funny profile meme.
I look at all profiles. Unfortunately, half of the women don’t even put pictures or fill in any contact info.
@lonelytauros I just keep going down the rabbit holes on these boards and tweaking accordingly. Either they'll say:
"Jesus, this is too much reading" and not be a person that can handle my extended texting beforehand lol
Nix me based on my time constraints/security measures.
Decide I'm possibly a good fit as a cuddle buddy and contact me with at least a complete sentence.
Either way, I feel like it saves time messaging all around 😆
@Calibrate715 I'm with you there. I'd rather save time putting everything someone needs to know in my profile rather than message back and forth the same info with everyone. It saves time so we can get to the actual in-person conversation sooner!
As a pro, I'm mostly drawn to someone's profile if they've sent me a detailed message inquiring about a cuddle and it's clear they've read my profile. I'm also sometimes drawn by people who regularly contribute positively to the threads.
@bekah_cuddles I could definitely see why a pro would have a very descriptive profile. Not saying it prevents you receiving questions to things you already lined out lol. However, if it's clear someone didn't read yours, I imagine it's easier to decide not to take them on as a client.
@Calibrate715 Not at all, I actually like yours a lot, it flows with pretty much answers every question that a cuddler would ask and you set your terms, level of comfort, but it doesn't come across as...abrasive? I like yours a lot
@stormblessed Well thank you! I tweaked it to bullet list style to (hopefully) answer any topics of concern. Reading these discussion boards has been super helpful about bringing things to mind that I hadn't considered as a newbie😊
They say a picture is worth a thousand words and I certainly agree, but a picture of a genuine smile invites my soul.
The profile picture
It's usually their picture, if they just look genuinely kind.
I'm likely to message them if they're close with economic friendly rates but if they have tons of disclaimers I'm more hesitant.
Cat
Given how rural I am currently, Location is pretty much the main factor now.
The eyes have it.
Proximity. It's seriously my number 1 priority...lol
I'm probably like most and prefer to see a profile with a picture, (not real fond of half of the face chopped off), an About Me with some details in it and a touch of something original or different. Distance is a factor to consider. But sometimes if you get to know someone not local, then travel is a possibility. There are so many wonderful people out there, why not make the most of it? I've said hello to people since I joined last year. In return I've gotten so many kind replies. I think that I and most people feel a little less alone. That is something that makes this site so special.
It would be how they present their picture. I feel more drawn to people who are introverted or played back. I wanna give the people who are to afraid to ask a big hug and cuddles. Everyone deserves someone warm to hold
Whether or not they can play the banjo
Friendliness playfulness professionalism
A warm smile on THEIR face in a picture of only themself or with like, their pet (so it’s obvious who the profile belongs to)!
@FunCartel - Thanks for making me chuckle!! It’s Friday night and this toddler WILL NOT let me leave, so my heart’s full!! 🥰
Not sure how to explain, but usually the general vibe of their profile text and whether or not it gives off a certain unique sense of identity other than "I cuddle people".
The people on here can be so colorful, and I love the sense of adventure meeting up with and sharing time someone I haven't seen before gives me. I'm usually drawn to whatever makes you unique.
I click on profiles that do not have centered photos because I am wondering why they only thought to post the top of their head.
@Charlie_Bear those are the best but I figured out why they do that it’s because they’re ninjas
Well tbh picture first of course it’s the most visible thing. Location is big, i like trying to decipher names as well. Trying to understand what they mean. Then I’ll read to find more.
But the picture is a big deal. I also consider what draws me to the picture. Then i decide if it’s something i should approach on this site.
I’ve seen some so attractive that I’d dare not try and approach. This is a platonic site. The same way i look at some i feel are advertising something other than what I’m interested in.
I evaluate the names and profile for the same.
