I'm really curious what people think about preferred times to meet for cuddling. My personal thoughts lean a certain way and partially I'm just explaining my own thoughts, but I'm open to hearing what anyone has to share about why they have their preferred times or general thoughts about preferred times.
As an individual: Cuddling in the morning sounds like it wouldn't really be that enjoyable for me. Maybe it's simply to do with being a "morning person vs night owl", but it just doesn't sound as good. Like, I don't think I'd enjoy a session as much knowing I have the whole day ahead of me afterward. I would much rather have it be something to look forward to throughout the day, have a session, and then bring the good feelings/positivity to sleep with me that night.
I don't really wake up and think "I wanna watch a movie" in the start of the day, it just doesn't feel right. Rather, watching a movie at night is definitely more natural, and I feel like cuddling would have the same sort of feeling with it. At least that's how I assume it'd feel like, but maybe time of day wouldn't have that big of an impact after all and I'm just overthinking it.
For others: One thing I thought about is that I can totally see that cuddling later in the day, especially later at night, could be a much more dangerous thing, especially with someone you don't know very well or with the wrong person. I don't think I really need to get into why it sounds more dangerous, so I'll just leave it at that - it just sounds more dangerous. So I definitely see why people would only really openly prefer earlier times in terms of being safer. I am curious though, in one's "ideal world" (where no one has to have those worries), if preferences would shift or stay the same. I'm sure that there are lots of people that would say "no, cuddling in the day just feels right" in the same (opposite) way that I think it makes more sense at night.
