Why don't we have an app?

Why doesn't CC have an app? Someone get on that, pretty please! Bookings and messages would be so much easier on pros with notifications!

Edit: I guess we do technically have an app but it's not like traditional apps! Someone put the instructions in the comments for anyone who would like!
And I just have to say... I didn't expect this post to stir so much negativity! Most apps also have websites so if we did have a typical download-able app, I'm sure the site would still exist as well... like many other apps/sites! This question wasn't about making it either/or!

    I imagine it's because CC is run by a tiny team with (I think) one programmer (who I'm not sure works on CC full time). Providing all 3 of a web interface, Android app, and iPhone app is probably not realistic.

    If I had to download an app with questionable functionality, i'd be less likely to come here. Does anyone else share this concern?

    You can install the site as a web app, but I don't think that does anything with helping with notifications, which I assume is the biggest feature we want haha.

    We do have an app, for all intents and purposes. Comment from Mark the site owner a while ago:

    It's a PWA app. So on Android you should see the 'Install App' button in Settings page but for iPhone you'd need to save the website to your home screen for it to activate. iOS also currently lacks support for the Push notifications in PWA.

    So yeah, if you're an Android user, the app is as good as a native app right now.

    Nah, I'm good with email notifications for messages and appts.

    I mentioned this previously. I have it installed on my home screen as an app. The only glitch that has a problem is there’s no back arrow. So after this question, I have to go out and back in to go to another part of the website. I cannot go backwards to where I was previously. Otherwise this works fine and I get to email notifications of someone contact me.

    I think this site works fine the way it is. I would choose the wings though.
