I stated I am straight but shy are guys checking into my Profile?

[Deleted User]DancesWSnuggler (deleted user)

It states in my Profile I am a STRAIGHT MALE. But I find it strange alot of men are checking into my Profile.
Are they looking for the female Pros I have seen?
Are these men possibly using me to screen
female Pros for them?
Cuddle Comfort....Is there a way I cannot allow men to...look around my Profile?
It bothers me more & more men seem to visit my Profile.
Is there any way I can better control my Profile?
It's a lil weird that more and more men seem to come..."check out" my Profile.
How can I screen my visitors? Is there a way?

  • How do you expect people to know that you are a straight male without reading your profile?

Most likely it means you posted something interesting in the forums, and people want to know more about the poster. Don't read too much into it.

Thank you... yeah, appreciate your reply.

  • People look at profiles for an endless variety of reasons, most of which you cannot even imagine. This is a social media site: people looking at other people's profiles is at the heart of what it does and how it works.

This is a platonic site, sexual orientation is given for background information only. It's not important, and not directly relevant to cuddling. Although straight men cuddling together isn't particularly common, it is perfectly normal.

  • I'm always curious about that as well! I assume it has nothing to do with them checking me out for a session. I notice when I give karma I tend to get several profile views immediately following that. So, more often than not, they are following the review trail (for whatever reason)?

Im sure they want to see if you have given any reviews or if cuddlers have given you karma. Men “check me out” all the time…lol

    🤣🤣🤣

@DancesWSnuggler Variety of reasons. The men could have seen you in the forums, saw karma on pros profiles (so clicked on your profile to have both sides of the karma story and to decide whether or not to book certain pros based on feedback experience), other guys may see you successful and may view your profile for tips and or etc.

  • All of the above and also you don’t have a pic, so they might go to verify your orientation or gender. Now that you posted you’re probably going to get a lot more views from guys I’m sure.

I guess people are expected to know who you prefer to cuddle with via ESPN or is it just ESP.
Guys check my profile frequently. I just send them a thank you and happy cuddling note.

  • People assume all the time. Just like you’re assuming that possibly either checking you out or using you to screen pros. You don’t have a profile picture that shows your man. And it could be easy to assume that your profile name could be a woman. They’re not gonna find this out until they actually see that you were male. As soon as they look at your profile, you’re going to get a notice. Regardless, if they’re on there for a second or minute.

  • How would they know what female pros you have seen?

  • Guys check other guy's profiles to read their bio, check their karma (to see past cuddles), and check Pro's karma that link to men they've accepted as clients.

Cuddle Comfort....Is there a way I cannot allow men to...look around my Profile?

No, there is not a way to preemptively block men from viewing your profile.

All people see on here is your username, and since you have no profile photo, they have no idea what your gender or sexual orientation is, not that your orientation is typically conveyed in a profile photo. Are these visitors messaging you looking to cuddle after visiting? If not, I wouldn’t look too much into why guys are on your recents list. There are many reasons why someone would view your profile, and them wanting to cuddle an unwilling same-gender participant would be very low on that list, if at all.

  • @DancesWSnuggler dude you don’t even have photos of yourself on your profile so who cares who is looking at your profile male or female. And yes if you have left women karma most guys are checking out what they wrote about you and then others may be men looking to cuddle other men. I just looked at your profile because you wrote in the profile. No biggie, now if guys start sending you photos of their junk then I would be annoyed.

  • @SuperManCuddles covered it very well.
When I post in the forum I noticed the traffic on my profile.
When I joined I was looking at many peoples profiles to get an idea on how to write one as I have never done anything like that before.

  • @DancesWSnuggler I visited your profile. I will tell other guys. You are so irresistible and I wasn’t gay until now.

  • 😂😂😂😂😂

  • I love when other women check out my profile, it's caters to my ego of:

    "I STILL GOT IT!"

    😆

    Nah, not really...😋

People check out other people's profiles for different reasons, if I noticed they checked out my profile then I may (or may not) check out theirs. I wouldn't read so much into it though.😊

  • If I see a woman pro or enthusiast had feedback left by a man, I may check out that man's profile to come up with ideas on if I should lengthen or shorten my profile or make any changes (not to copy).

I also check out people's profiles that post in the forums.

  • THIS POST MAKES ME MISS YOU, DARREN WALKER!

  • @DancesWSnuggler With so many guys visiting your profile you might want to get tested.

  • [Deleted User]MrAdmirer (deleted user)

Lol. I think 8 out of 10 people who view my profile are men.

  • Hahhahahahahahahhahahashahhahahahahhahahj!!!!!!hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahah! This is the funniest discussion I have come across!!! Hahahahahaha … and @FunCartels response! hahahahahah … I worry people heard me laugh uncontrollably outside my office …

  • It's all one big piece of the gay agenda puzzle . Looking at your profile grants them psychic abilities and renders them able to make you like dudes . They get a toaster every time they convert someone.

  • lol next it’ll be why are men looking at me i’m public?!? i’m straight!!??

  • edited April 2023

@pmvines - the only things gays care about on the gay agenda is brunch. And Taco Tuesdays.

@Everyone - oh sweet mysteries of social media life. I leave you with the wisdom of Jessica Rabbit:

"I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way."

I find that mocking those who have expressed fear or discomfort is the absolute best way to promote their healing…

    @DancesWSnuggler

I’m not sure why it makes you uncomfortable, but your boundaries are none of my business.

Don’t let the bullies of the world get to you.

Do find actual, reasonable help for those things that do trouble you.

  • @CharlesInWI - the OPs post has been discussed multiple times through the years.

At issue is a 1) non-pic profile 2) not wanting attention and 3) posting in the forums where he'll get MORE attention is a tried and true way to generate profile views. EVERY. TIME.

  • @CharlesInWI Trying to hold people accountable for crossing unstated boundaries is a fool's errand at best, and a violation of their consent at worst. People cannot know where the invisible line is unless you tell them. Beyond that, boundaries are to define our own actions, not those of others - that would be rules. Seeing as OP does not have a rule of "no men may view my profile" listed on his profile, and even if he did it would be a trap because the rule would already be broken upon reading, this whole discussion of his "boundary" is moot here. If he doesn't want his profile viewed by the public, he needs to go on mute status or not not have a profile on social media at all.
