What is the point of a fake account?

What is the deal with the guy creating a ton of obviously bogus CC accounts in Austin, TX? I stumble upon and report probably one or two per week when messaging my recent visitors. It’s not a new thing. But, it blows my mind every time I see a new one and I was just wanting to talk about it. 🤯🤯🤯

    It's entirely possible that he's a pic collector. The pics will be used to set up fake accounts on dating sites, and on the sites where escorts advertise. They will make there money by convincing men to pay a "booking fee" in advance, and then vanish.

    @GreatHornedOwl The guy I’m talking about is creating accounts that are obviously not real. So, I can’t imagine what the point is! They all have the same type of professional looking stock photo, and the profiles are littered with racist/sexual comments. Even the usernames are unhinged.

    Unfortunately you are correct and that does happen. A friend of mine here had to deal with that. It's horrible.

    I realized I was speaking to someone who had been banned not long after texting them offline. They said the exact same thing, which got me to thinking it's possible I have spoken to them before. I ofcourse said not interested and blocked them on and off line.

    I've had trolls message me a few times with different accounts. He wasn't very creative, so it was pretty clear it was the same guy each time. I reported every time, but I have no idea of his motives or what he gets from doing this. Clearly he has more time on his hands than he knows what to do with.

    There are so many women that create a profile but never put a photo or any text info either and I often wonder what’s the point? Are they fake or just perusers? And then just today I got this message:
