Sleep Schedule

This may have been discussed before so forgive me if it has. Reading about overnighters made me wonder what everyone’s sleep schedule is. I’m in bed at 8:30pm, generally asleep by 9pm. Why? I wake up at 3:30am to go to the gym before work. I really dislike the over crowded gyms at night. I also start work fairly early at 7:30am. I stay up later on weekend though. What about all of you?

    In bed between 10-10:30pm, awake between 5:45-6:30am.

    Props to getting up at 3:30am for the gym!! I just don’t have that energy/ability at that time. I have a hard time getting out of bed at 6am, let alone 3:30am lol

    My sleep schedule is based on the level of depression and anxiety I’m feeling during the day so if I’m feeling really depressed/anxious I usually go to bed early. if I’m not too tired after work, usually will go to bed around 10 and then maybe wake up like an hour or two later, fall back asleep, and then continue the same cycle until I decide to wake up usually around 6 AM sometimes earlier. I’ve never been one to sleep in even on my days off.

    Working three jobs my sleep pattern is most definitely out of wack. Sometimes going to sleep at 1am and waking up at 8am, generally I try to get to sleep at around 1030pm. I do enjoy an afternoon nap so if I have the time I will catch up on some much needed sleep 😴

  • @Morpheus Props on making the gym happen the way you want it!

    @lonelytauros I feel you. 🫂

    I used to be very regulated, going to bed at 9:30 every night. My boyfriend likes to stay up to 10:30 or 11:00, so I've naturally shifted later to mirror him, seeing as we share a bed. 😄 I still shoot to be in bed by 9:30, but what time I sleep is sporadic, at best.

    My sleep is also affected by meds sometimes and thus you may find me posting here at 3:30 in the morning, if I'm waking up and dealing with a bout of insomnia. 😛

  • I usually go to bed at 10pm and get out of bed around 8am, in that time I collectively get about 4-5 hours of sleep. Ptsd in a s.o.b.!

  • When I do from 23:30 to 6:30, I'm pretty satisfied. Oftentimes, if I'm anxious due to work, a flight or a particular appointment in the following day, then it's normally less hours of sleep.

  • In bed by midnight and back up by 6:30am as work starts around 7:30am.
    Sometimes I doze off earlier if I'm not doing anything or just that tired.

    I can go to bed at anytime and fall asleep though (a bit narcoleptic).

    I'm up that late playing WoW or watching TV with my roommate or reading usually.

    Usually in bed between 11:00 pm and midnight and I normally fall asleep within 1-2 minutes). Consistently up 7 hours after I go to sleep.

    Once in a while I'm ready for bed at 730, other times up until one, but that's not the usual. In the morning I'm always up between 5-6 AM with no alarm. Although that doesn't mean I'm ready to get out of bed!

  • When I'm less busy I'm generally in bed between 10-11 and up at 6 for work. When I'm busy with gigs I'll generally get to bed later, as the games tend to last longer and I may have to travel a bit. Usually up between 8-9 on the weekends.

    I wonder what sheep count when they have insomnia.

  • I generally pass out sometime between 12 am and 2 am, but sometimes I turn into an insomniac and go through phases where I am up until 3 or 4 am. Depending on the day, I wake up between 9 am and 12 pm. Last night I fell asleep on the couch between 12 and 1, got up around 8:30, gave my rabbits and guinea pigs food and water, and then went back to sleep until 10:30 but didn't get out of bed until around 11. I keep this unconventional schedule because I naturally have a later circadian rhythm, and I often do cuddle sessions until 8 or 9 pm and don't get home until 10 or 11 some nights.

  • @xandriarain Can we see the piggy babies? 😃

    @SunsetSnuggles here you go

    I just adopted the brown one (Coco) and the yellow one (Peaches) a week and a half ago and am introducing them to Pumpkin the tricolored one whom I have had for several years now (her partner passed away a few months ago, and she needed new friends) Unfortunately Pumpkin was a bully to the other two so she is in a separate cage now !

    They are in the bathtub because it’s a neutral territory for introductions, but they are all settled into cages now. They were only in the bathtub for an hour or two when they first met.

    Here is a close-up of peaches eating a carrot

  • @xandriarain Precious babies! I hope Pumpkin can warm up. I'm sorry you lost one. hugs
