Client pictures

Non-professionals are not required to have a picture of themself on their profile. I have never had a pro request to see a picture of me before hand. I’m very curious to know what the thought process is for Pros knowing that you’re going to go cuddle with somebody without knowing what they look like. I’ve asked this question to one pro and she said that she actually preferred to not know what they look like because she found the anticipation of meeting them and finding out what they look like to be exciting. Can some of the pros and even non pros share your thoughts on this topic please?

  • Fir me photo is required it’s a safety issue

  • @cuddlebugtm what if the client has loads of positive karma that you know are not fake?

  • I never cuddle anyone without meeting them in a public place beforehand (no charge, no strings attached). This works so well as it gives us a chance to get to know one another a bit first & build a relationship. So when they come in for their first session, we already have a sense of familiarity with one another. :) Looks, height, occupation, gender, orientation, blood type, spirit animal, favorite color etc. are complete non-issues for me, everyone deserves loves and cuddles. No exception. Mutual respect is my only requirement. <3

  • Pictures and meet in public first is required I don’t care how much Karma they have . It’s simple and a big red flag if someone is not willing to do those things .

  • You pros that want to meet your client beforehand, is this right before the session or is this on a different day? What would make you decline the session after meeting the person? I mean aside from obvious things like rudeness etc

  • I always do same day right before session . Mostly it’s obvious stuff but there is also just a gut feeling if I don’t feel comfortable , if my body and spirit is feeling uneasy I walk . I’ve learned the hard way in my life to listen to that thing inside me that says something isn’t right .

  • @cuddlebugtm how do you handle that? I am guessing it must be highly awkward to meet someone and then deny them. Maybe it’s easier for a female since females have probably spent more time in their lives denying men than men denying women lol ;-p

  • It’s as simple as saying I don’t think I’m the right person for your need or it’s not a good fit. Reality is if you aren’t comfortable it won’t be a good experience for either so I rather not waste either of our time or their money . I pay for my own coffee /lunch at the meeting .So they aren’t out any money .

Some Pros that I've read over their profile state that a phone call or Skype call is required before the cuddle session, others have said they require a photo on their profile or one sent by email too before meeting. Since majority of my cuddle sessions have been while I was traveling, meeting beforehand hasn't been possible, but I have made it a point to message well in advance when booking so we can talk on here to get to know each other a bit better and have things to talk about during the cuddle session. It's also to get a better sense of the person to see if we would vibe well. One Pro I've been with doesn't talk much on the site in her messages, but in person her and I joke around for hours and we can't stop talking :)
I see having a photo or willing to email/text one, karma, a phone call or using Skype, meeting up beforehand in public whether it be just before the cuddle session or some other time before it, and exchanging several messages all as a way for both sides to feel out the other person for their own safety, their possible intentions, and getting to know them better to better help with the cuddle session being more fulfilling to their needs. We are meeting people off the Internet.. something that 20-30+ years ago we were told repeatedly to never do as there was no telling who they were or could be. So taking steps to be safe, understanding, and accommodating, to a reasonable extent, the requests of someone else for them to feel safe in meeting someone shouldn't seem unreasonable or problematic.

  • I would never cuddle anyone without knowing what they look like. How are you going to meet someone in public and not know who you're looking for?

Also, others who message me first know what I look like. It's only fair that I know what they look like.

  • @blueiris are you with a client that doesn’t have a profile picture but sends you one privately?

  • How many pros who request to meet publicly for the first meeting have then turned down the client due to that gut feeling (or blatant red flag) that something wasn’t right?

I imagine it being a low percentage, as no doubt most clients would most likely be safe if they are willing to go through the effort.

  • I sent one client on his way two nights ago because as we were going over the rules he kept repeating no kissing and even though I said yes, no exception, he asked "but with time we can build up to these right?" To me that was a clear intention that cuddling isn't what he wanted so I said. Nice to meet you but sorry this isn't going to work out and I left.

  • @ashleycuddles was this a pretty cuddle meetup or was this at the beginning of the session?

  • I think I am in the minority here. I don't think I have ever met anyone for a meet and greet before the cuddle session. I also, don't always ask for a picture. I understand the reason that others choose to do that, I just really don't find it all that necessary. First of all, I don't have the time to meet and greet everyone first. Secondly, I have excellent radar to weed out inappropriate clients via messaging.

There is definitely a risk to this business and that will never go away, even with IDs and pictures and meetings. Anyone can be on their best behavior for 1/2 hour. That proves nothing to me.

I feel safer cuddling a new client that I just met than I do walking down the streets of Baltimore or using an ATM at night.

Everyone needs to do what they need to do to feel safe.

  • @Scarlett I think you’re actually the majority. I personally have seen over 25 pros and only one of them requested a meet and greet. None of them requested a picture up until the one above that I posted about originally.

  • @morpheus. Good to know! I read all of these posts and wonder if I'm being too confident. If your so overly anxious about meeting new clients perhaps this isn't the right profession for you.

  • I think it really depends on where you cuddle , your history and own radar . Everyone should do what works for them. For me Skype works just as well . I like to talk to someone and look in their eyes .

  • It was the beginning of the session where I make sure that the boundaries are clear one last time before starting to cuddle. He also kept insisting to go to my house even though I kept saying no so that already made me about to walk away

  • I ALWAYS review the rules before the cuddle. I also review them during our messaging addressing any questions they may have. That's a step that I never skip.

  • Yes exactly. You have to go over it several times. It is frustrating though when the site has the rules when you join, my profile clearly says that I don't do anything sexual, you go over it when you initially start talking...then when you meet and go over it one last time they act like it's new information and they think really I was just saying that I wasn't going to cause I had to. I put it out there to save people time when trying to contact me. So I don't feel guilty if you get sent home without cuddles. I also don't except money until they agree to these rules.

  • I am a firm believer that what works for some may not work for others so just do what makes you feel safe. Its your body, your time, and your energy you are bringing to the table. So don't feel bad about turning someone down. I have known paid and non paid cuddlers who have had some pretty bad things happen that would have not happened had they not been with that person. So going with your gut may save yourself from some pretty bad experiences.

  • On the flipside I have actually seen several profiles of paid cuddlers without a pic. Not sure how that would be good for business. I dont care much about looks in terms of platonic activities, plus I am attracted to and notice things that aren't necessarily what others find appealing, but things like expression, smile, eyes, etc can go a long way in communicating non verbal cues that give a feeling of warmth, openness, kindness, etc.

  • Pro cuddlers are supposed to have a picture according to the site.

Some stats (from the start of February) ... out of 1443 female pros:

37 have no profile picture (maybe they deleted them?)
201 pros haven't filled in the "about me" section

12 have neither a picture nor an "about me" (women of mystery!)

  • I think pros should be required to have a picture and a filled out profile .

  • Well no one is gonna talk to them otherwise. Lol

  • Pros are required to have a pic. Non pros are not.

  • Perhaps I am confused then and getting the no pic mixed up with not having a profile filled out. I do know I have seen that and thought it a bit odd. Maybe that's where I got the no pic thought from.

  • [Deleted User]chococuddles (deleted user)

@pmvines Yeah I've seen a few pros with no profile and thought it was odd.

@morpheus Requirements...? For some, suggestions. :p
