@achetocuddle You are always so kind. Thank you.

This week, I successfully defended my MFA thesis and won two graduate writing awards at my school.

  • @Mman It's good. If I didn't feel like I know you, I would wonder if you really did it :)

@QuietTimes Congratulations! Did you have to leave the house to go to work or did you put on pants to do something fun out in the world? Lol.

  • @natickben that is AMAZING!! Congratulations!!!

  • I remembered to breathe & wake up from a scary dream I had thought was reality. 🤌🙏

  • Thank you for asking & high five! Way to get all that done in a day! I am impressed.

Lost over 20 pounds and now I’m down to my desired weight for first time in about a decade

  • I completed a task that took me four days to slog through, but it's finally done!

  • @Mman Your carving is awesome.

  • I've managed to make my therapy appointment 3 weeks in a row. This may seem a small thing, but with life long depression in full flare mode making my ADHD even worse, the past month has been a bit hellish mental healthwise and it's been hard to even get out of bed. I'm proud of myself for prioritizing myself for once and doing something to take care of me even when I don't feel like doing it.

@cuddlefaery i’m proud of you. That’s a very big accomplishment. I actually went ahead and changed my primary care doctor today I don’t like change but I’m not getting the care that I need from my doctor.

  • Broke up with a girl who was treating me very disrespectfully

  • Had dinner with a friend I haven’t seen in over a year while also trying Korean bbq for the first time, so a nice 2 for 1.

Managed to not melt wicked witch of the west style today in this 110 degree heat index with the swampy humid air to match

  • @lonelytauros also proud of you - I know how exhausting advocating for your health needs can be! I hope your new GP is a much better fit!

@pmvines eeeeeeeew, I REALLY don't miss that. We're supposed to hit 105+ this weekend, but it's dry heat.

  • I suffered a massive soft tissue injury in my right lower leg on June 7th. Spent a week in the hospital. Been having a physical therapist come by twice a week since then. I've been hobbling around with a walker, exclusively, until this week. Now I'm using a cane about half the time. Happy I'm graduating to a walking stick, but I'm still ready to be done with this.

@CallMeMikey I hope you make a full recovery soon

  • Will have been eating healthy and going to the gym for six months this weekend.

  • @lonelytauros Thank you. Getting there, slowly but surely.

  • Didnt cuss anyone out today. Had a few opportunities, but I didnt do it.

  • Installed a new doggy door. Now I can go in and out much better than before.

  • I have achieved two of my goals for 2023! One was to acquire my very first passport, and the other was to use it to travel out of the states. My boyfriend and I just spent ten awesome days in Canada! 🤩 🇨🇦 We went clear from Toronto to Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, and back. Cheers to my new Canadian cuddle buddies!

  • @ScroogeMcducky That is terrific, lol. You've managed to post something funny (love funny) and do something that really matters that is actually difficult to do. I admire that.

  • @achetocuddle I hope your day was more productive or happier than April 2022! Clay Aiken. lol

  • @SunsetSnuggles Congrats on your passport and going to Canada, eh? How were the pple in the various cities?

  • @cylee1180 Honestly, nearly everyone we met in Canada was nice, from the customs guard who joked with me to our waitress who helped my boyfriend practice French. We had great interactions with locals of every sort and such a wide variety of cultures, it was lovely. 😌 Where we currently live, there is almost zero diversity, so it's always nice to be back in a melting pot (like Vegas where we were before), where various languages swirl in the air. 😊

  • This week I began mentoring 2 people (both early in their careers) on how to properly plan and conduct research from literature reviews to sample selection, data collection and analysis.

  • @SunsetSnuggles That sounds amazing! while I try to be nice, I live in the DMV (MD) area, and we're in an etiquette desert. lol 🏜️
