Like @Rezz said, they are not vending machines. It's funny that some of yall insist on arguing against that.

And it's funny that some of yall act like there is even a need for an on call all the time cuddler, as though the impulse control is so out of whack that you can't just find a suitable date and time that works for you both. Even if you are in a relationship with somebody , you still have to navigate schedules and life and circumstances. The idea of on call at all hours pros has been brought up . Some have said why it's a bad idea and why they would not feel comfy with that and why they wouldn't agree to that. However, it is dismissed and the merits of their reasons are debated and minimized. It is for reasons like this that some of yall will unfortunately always likely have a hard time wirh finding cuddle partners. It shows a lack of respect for boundaries and a lack of concern for the other perosns needs. But instead of being rational adults and trying to change that about yourselves, some of yall would much rather keep spinning your wheels telling the pros as well as non pro women on here what they should be doing for you and how they can make your lives better. Some of yall just don't seem to get It.

  • @OhioMike I see a narrow house with a disproportional roof surrounded by green grass. is that your preferred cuddle spot?

  • @Sooson Without a doubt in my mind I’m sure unfortunately that’s all quite a few see !

Now as far as my preferred cuddle spot ? Oh gosh ! If you know me at all , I’m a traveler and have so many. Challenging to pick a preferred one ! 😊

  • I see a tiki bar, a mushroom and a penis.

Sounds like I was tripping in Polynesia and woke up naked.

  • @BoomerSpooner (first time using your newer username btw 😂) it’s a “penis emergency “ symbol ( Sorry @Rachel_P )

  • @OhioMike looking at your profile I can believe that. you're a cool guy. Can I buy some Karmas from you? i'll do PayPal, CashApp, Bitcoin. however you choose. I could try to earn them myself, but it will take me about 10 lives.

  • Well thank you @Sooson 😊 I took a peak at your profile and love your area When I first joined this site way back when , I met members in the Schaumburg area near you and actually cuddled in a comedy club in that area. I wish my work took me back to that area again. So cool 😎

  • @OhioMike Lots of hotels and tons of dining options there. Nice location for a 4–5-hour session that includes dinner and a stroll around Woodfield. I think I'm about 40 minutes or so north of there.

  • @dave31415 The fact you assume I don’t screen is audacious at best, and offensive at worst. Thank you for explaining my job to me like the silly woman I am. 🙃 You sound like you are pitching an MLM. Please stop trying to convince the women here that there is not an increased risk in last minute bookings. There is, and I know women who do sex work who do not do last minute bookings for just that reason. Pro cuddlers face the same type of risk…specifically newer cuddlers who don’t know any better. If someone wants to offer an upcharge for last minute, awesome. I may just do it myself after reading the desire for it here. People who don’t plan don’t respect the time of the cuddler. Period. It’s offensive that people assume I have nothing better to do on a Friday night. Sometimes my couch is more welcoming, and that’s okay.

That said, I’m extremely pro sex work. I do not believe it should be vilified, and there is a definite need for it. However, the US is consistently setting back the clock for human rights, so I don’t expect a massive change anytime

@Sooson while there are predatory women out there, the fact remains that the women on this site, especially pros, are approached often by men with unsavory intentions. I was reading the pro forum yesterday, and there are many women who come into this extremely naïve and assuming that everyone here will behave like a gentleman/gentleperson. That is, unfortunately, far from the truth. I know there are many kind people on this site who are here for the right reasons, some of whom are currently on this thread. Additionally, while women definitely are capable of pushing boundaries and being predatory, I doubt any female cuddler would have to pay unless they wanted to. Women are generally outnumbered by men on all dating sites, and I would bet anything that’s true of cuddle sites as well.

  • Great I dea!

@OhioMike where can I get that pillow?!

  • The level of male privilege it takes to equate the risk levels of delivering a pizza at 3am to meeting a stranger to cuddle.... somehow I don't think last minute cuddle clients would appreciate their ordered cuddle being exchanged at the door or even left outside the door with a quick knock before leaving 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

@dave31415 it's not the length of your arguments - it's the lack of rational integrity and how you're dismissing the concerns of every woman here is being "pessimistic". The false equivalencies and bad faith tactics are incredibly frustrating. You'd rather victim blame someone for not addressing all the potential issues when they are harmed than place the blame firmly where it belongs - with the perpetrators and the system that enables them.

Thus far, the proposed checks and balances have not shown sufficient evidence that they would provide safety. For liability purposes, no company is going to guarantee that their contractors, let alone business client's, are 100% safe. Companies are already incredibly careful about how they word their safety clauses even when they do background checks because abusive people aren't abusive 100% of the time and there's so much that doesn't show up on reports. The only way I could feasibly see a company taking on the liability risk of this would be if their SuperPros were employees AND they ran background checks and other extensive vetting on the clients who have access to those pros. Not just reviews from other pros that could be fake accounts or done after a scheduled virtual call without actually meeting in person. CC does not in any way employ the pros here, it cannot vet or guarantee our safety or that of clients, so why would it want to take on the added liability involved when the vetting process is rushed?

  • Also, I should note:

As someone with ADHD and terrible time blindness, I can absolutely relate to the "oh shit, I forgot to schedule the thing I needed to schedule". It's almost a weekly occurrence for me even with medication and all my coping skills and fail safes in place. It doesn't excuse me from the consequences of my actions or inactions - in this case being that I have to schedule the thing for later.

If you know you have trouble remembering to schedule things in advance, establish a relationship with a cuddler and discuss last minute appointments. If they are amenable to it, you work out the boundaries around said last minute calls. And then if you fail to meet those requirements? Then there are consequences, like an adult, and not a toddler who wants what they want NOW. Cuddling isn't life or death, missing out on cuddle sessions because you forgot to plan them isn't going to hurt you. And if you find that you are regularly forgetting to schedule things to the point that it is negatively impacting your life? Time to talk to a therapist to get help figuring out better coping skills. Like an adult who takes responsibility for their actions.

To @cuddlefaery's point, expecting CC to put itself in a position to take on any liability is pretty farfetched. This isn't Facebook or Google -- one lawsuit and it's wiped out. Hell, if someone got assaulted by someone they met here and it made the news, that would probably be the end of it.

  • If someone is looking for a last minute cuddle, I would question where they are emotionally... as @cuddlefaery said, cuddling is not the end of the world, so why does someone need an immediate cuddle? Are they in a very emotionally sensitive situation? did they have a bit too much to drink and are thinking about their ex? or did they just realize they had some spare time and a few extra bucks to spend? In the first 2 scenarios the person is possibly not thinking things through even if they have the best of intentions. Being in a vulnerable mental state can lead to someone crossing a line that they normally would not.

While I have a good long term cuddleship with a pro here and think that she would be open to meeting me for a late night/last minute session, I would hope that she would do some extra screening to make sure I had my head screwed on right at that particular point in time.

  • Firstly, I completely understand suddenly having a need for connection or touch and with this the appeal of expediting the meeting of needs - as a whole this could be a viable concept.

    Also agree with @Rezz
I was thinking the same thing but would add that I have seen many pros who charge more for short notice cuddle sessions and call it a convenience fee or something to that effect.
While advanced planning is always preferred I have been able to connect with some amazing people with short notice while adhering to screening.

  • I’ve been off the site for a bit, but this one caught my attention. As always @Nature_Lover_ i love your response. (I miss chatting with you!)
Mostly wanna say that two opposing things can exist at the same time. The main reason I rarely ever book pros or meet up with anyone here is because if I’m paying for cuddling, I’d want to do it when it’s directly going to help with trauma issues. It’s hard for me to time when when I would need that without the ability for some last minute scheduling.
It also makes sense that many last minute bookings are sketchy for pros and not worth the safety risk (unless it’s repeat clients?)
For me it just means that the site doesn’t work well for me for therapeutic cuddling. I also however don’t feel like complaining about it because I don’t blame pros for not wanting to put themselves in sketchy situations.
There’s further complications with getting paid more for those types of situations. I have a friend who’s worked in a human trafficking division of law enforcement and from my understanding, higher payment (or payment in general) often comes with more sense of entitlement/ownership from the client, which can make situations even more dangerous.

Having a secure location with other people around (security/more public) would be the only solution I could think of right now.

@Nature_Lover_ maybe time to start our commune? 😂

  • @me2 If you're looking for text therapy, there are services like Talkspace and BetterHelp where you can get your acute needs met from therapists who are on-call and available when you need them.

  • R u available now

  • If I weren't just so attached to my sleep and very terrible at staying awake I might consider doing on-call virtual sessions.

  • @biancalovecraft yeah come over! 😂
    Also, hiiii

@cde123 i appreciate you putting on call resources out there. Kinda got out of professional therapy a little while ago and am enjoying the extra cash for now lol.
Good to have on the forum though! I’m

I also got a cat… I know there’s a whole post on it somewhere but I’ll reiterate that pets might be a good option for people needing on call therapy.
