Why would a cuddler randomly deactivate their account?

I had a booking today and an hour before it she messaged me that she didn't realize it was going to take longer to get to me. That in her profile it said that would be extra and if I still wanted to go through with it. I replied asking how much more and gave her my number to make it easier to communicate. She never replied then a few hours later I noticed she deactivated her profile. At least be professional about it and be honest if something came up couldn't make it. She was 21 so I shouldn't have expected her to do that.

    That is unprofessional. I believe quite a few people realize they are not ready to cuddle someone they meet online after they agree to do so. I did the same thing initially but wound up changing my mind yet again and had a good cuddle. He was experienced and patient or else we would never have cuddled. Sometimes I wonder why he bothered with me, but this is part of the reason he has good fortune in getting cuddles. I would imagine young women might do this more due to lack of life experience and possibly not knowing themselves. I sure did not know myself when I was in my 20s.

    Not that this is necessarily a good excuse, just a possibly understandable reason. Best wishes on your cuddle quest :)

    First of all that behavior is so frustrating. I’m sorry you were treated that way!
    We don’t have any control over what others decide to do. I notice more and more that some people sign up on this site without really understanding what it’s all about.
    She probably thought she could sit back and collect money without understanding her own responsibilities.
    I see people do things everyday that i just don’t get, so I just accept it because I can’t change it. But I can choose to not be around it.
    Even with bookings as a Pro, I’ve encountered so many awesome Cuddlers here! But there have been bad experiences too. I just have to move on.

    I have not had too many cuddles through here. More issues with somebody never replying back.

    When I would go to cuddle party events, I was usually holding space a lot of times. A lot of woman had issues with past trauma as well as cuddling strangers. Thinking cuddling as a more intimate engagement. Even crippling shyness. Probably even more personal reasons.

    Regardless to why a person reneges on cuddling, it could be a personal reason and/or private. Their problem not yours though.

    Not communicating with you was the only real issue. That could be to immaturity or trauma too.

    It does not sound like this had anything to do with you. It sounds like this girl is not mentally or emotionally ready and freaked out over the concept of cuddling a stranger, and deactivated her account. Only 21? Sounds about right.

    Don't take it personally, and don't let yourself be bothered by it. Just move on.

    People come and go all the time. Some folks sign up just to see what this site is about, decide it's not for them, and then leave--never to return. Others stick around for a while. And a special few take up permanent residency.

    My advice: Be friendly, but don't ever expect a response, you'll only get frustrated. Instead, treat a response like an unexpected gift-- a virtual "hello" from a stranger who might just be as sincere and genuine as you are in their desire to find a real connection.

    Typically the have a partner or ex who didn't know about it. Possibly a friend convinced them that it was too risky, most times they come back.

    @TxTom This is so well put! I've had people block me because they assume I won't reply if I somehow don't get back to them in an arbitrary and unknown timeline they've set. And I've had other people thank me just for getting back to them and being surprised I want to have a conversation.

    I look at every interaction as a chance to make a real connection. It's trial & error. You'll scrape your knees, just have to get back up and keep going. I've met some great people and they more than make up for any less than pleasant experience or interaction.

    I agree that quality is better than quantity.
    I am also aware that there is no quality in my country as far as i know.
    And that only a fool would expect things to get better.
    You can't be disappointed if you expect the inevitability of failure.

    @WriterGF You are totally right! I think that pessimism ironically allows you to fully appreciate how pleasant the surprise can be, where as optimists fail to cheer people up with their depressing and unrealistic platitudes.
    Cioran says that only optimists off themselves, and Pessimists are more likely to survive because they are more likely to think before doing.
    I often like to dispense another redpill when someone says that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel yet they might be too blinded by the light of the headlights of an oncoming train ^^

    @delicatesoul Thank you for the compliment. I'm not a Pro (obviously), but I've really learned to try to look at things as best I can from the Pros' perspective.

    It wasn't always like that though. I sounded just like some of the other newbie clients when I first signed up: "hey, why didn't she do this?" or "why didn't she do that?"

    But I've learned a lot since then. These forums have been a big help in that regard, especially the frequent postings of a couple Pros in particular--those have been very insightful. (I'd give them a public shout out, but I don't know if that would be appropriate.)

    Anyway, there's tons of helpful information in these forums for newbies, but unfortunately, a lot of it gets buried and forgotten inside random threads.

    I think it's really important for there to be as much dialogue as possible between client and Pro, to help eliminate confusion, and try to improve a mutual understanding.

    I agree, I remember a user who was a pro who acted more like a teenage girl than an actual professional. I was already skeptical of booking professionals before knowing what to expect from someone who was willing to spend some time playing video games for free. but her response to my very polite and civil refusal really soured my whole idea on hiring professionals

    the writing on her profile was in stark contrast to the language i imagined this person would use (nothing that would provoke the FCC to violate the first amendment) I imagined that this 'pro' would have an understanding and ease of conversation that I have seen with most enthusiasts where as I ended up sounding like Jim Carey regurgitating blackpills at the air-head NPC journalist.

    I may be an autistic shut-in but I can see the ignorance behind that awkard face.
    At least a bunch of random people on the internet understand his point of view more than a plastic barbie doll on TV.
