Hi there, VOLUNTEER mod here. I'd like to send out a gentle reminder that if you report someone in the dead of night, please give us time to actually see your report. Don't claim that we ignore reports IN ALL CAPS, when your report isn't handled minutes after you submit it. Also another reminder that posting pornographic images of the people you report, as well as calling them out for making duplicate profiles when you yourself have made 40+ profiles, is a bit hypocritical. Thanks...

    Ha yeah. I wish I didn't have to work in the morning cause now my insomniac-self will not be falling back asleep.

    Also to those that commented on that thread, please don't encourage that person. They do it intentionally and what they are doing is not right at all. They claim we don't take action and get their kicks by seeing the person get banned in real-time. It's incredibly frustrating and the person they target doesn't deserve that. Yes the person they report is violating the rules and will be banned, but instead of this person being a force for good and actually helping us the right way, they choose to publicly shame someone instead. It's pretty horrible behavior.

    It's also worth noting that when you report somebody, the automatic response states clearly that "Most reports are actioned with 48 hours" or words to that effect.

    I've Reported dozens of profiles and Flagged hundreds of forum posts. The vast majority are dealt with in eight hours or less. The process was started within 48 hours in all cases, as far as I can tell.

    Separately, history teaches us that the people who report problematic profiles in this way are always problematic themselves.

    @CuddleDuncan yep, this person is just very impatient.

    Claim: "Reported her multiples times since here new profile popped up and no action has been taken."

    Truth: This person reported the account 14 hours ago under a different username, and again 4 hours ago under their latest account. Neither are outside the 48 hour response time.

    Question: when you flag something for mod review....if it's posted across multiple threads do you flag the posts individually so the content can be removed, or do you flag in one thread and it'll remove everything when you delete the person?

    So using the scenario last night as an example, the forum post they made can be flagged and we will hide it. When they comment pornographic photos across multiple threads, each comment should be flagged so we know where they are at. It’s a group effort to help us find everything ☺️

    We don’t, so it should always be reported and never blasted in the forums. When we get reports like this, we investigate the claim and verify the account flagged is the actual person in the photos. There are also other verifications made which is why we need time to check, which this person never allows us. I have been in the position where I was actively communicating with the accused person as I was investigating a report when this person publicly outed the accused on the forums because they assumed we were ignoring their report. It’s beyond frustrating and horrifying for the person being accused. What is especially disgusting is this person privately messages people asking for extras so we have many pros that are not breaking any rules having to deal with someone making degrading requests of them 😖

    I don’t think I flagged anything last night. I definitely didn’t put anything in all caps, that’s not my style. I did make a comment about mods where are you or something like that. I was watching that person doing what they were doing all over the boards and was like omg this person is going crazy lol where’s the mod bat signal.

    I was up but was enjoying my day off from work by playing the new Zelda 😅 I very rarely drink and definitely didn’t yesterday so I was not hungover as that person suggested. I found out cause someone texted me thankfully.

    Volunteers in general usual do a thankless job and are wonderful for doing it. I’ve been involved and witnessed the work they do.
    It’s usually a unseen and under appreciated form of caretaking.

    My heart goes out to the mods here. As well as my praises.

    @Morpheus no worries that you didn't flag them. I went through and flagged all the posts across the forum posts I saw.

    @Charlie_Bear you mods do so much to keep everything in order. Everyone needs to remember that you all are just volunteers and you all have lives outside of the site. I wouldn't expect any of you to always be at the beck and call for every problem.

    I was just more concerned because I don’t like that kind of stuff on the boards because I think it’s bad for the site. I don’t want casual visitors looking at the boards, seeing those kind of things and thinking that’s what this place is all about.

    It’s ok, I was actually late to the party. I hid one of the posts but @Shake49 deserves the credit for stamping out all those comments. This person does this way too often. I would love to know what kind of life this person leads. So many questions… My very brief interaction with one of their alts resulted in them making a fake account of me which was not cool. But yeah sorry you all had to see all that yet again. And for the record we do care a lot about keeping the community safe. This person making fake bookings to ask for extras just to entrap people is so wrong. We have enough legitimate reports to deal with…
