Great sitcom and Andrew Koenig played the role of 'Boner' well. He is the son of the actor who played Chekov on The Original Star Trek tv series. There was actually an episode with a flashback to when Mike and Dickie were kids that hastily explained how Mike came up with that nickname for him.. I guess I remember that because I had friends that would laugh about the character having that nickname.

Yes the kid was named seven. Six was Blossoms best friend, played by the actress Jenna Von Oy.

There used to be a TV sports reporter who did the prime time and evening slots in Virginia Beach/Norfolk VA area who’s name was Richard Face for several years until one night he started going by Brad. I think that change would have happened sooner in the age of social media.
