  • Damn @Rachel_P im glad I do not have dyslexia or I would be like wow she responded under the guise you may be cool.
Lol get your cuddlin on, I ain't mad atcha, just saying.

  • @ whoever... I may be part of the problem one week, then turn around and be the solution the next. Ce la vie life is wonderful when communication is first and foremost.
I may say Hi one day and then write a haiku the next. Whatever I did best believe the day and time I did it I was just trying to be the best me for @ whoever.
I refuse to judge others when I know who I am lol.

  • I agree with @Mike403. I’ve had many not respond. I’ve had loads of no responses. Their loss, not mine. It’s a clear answer if they aren’t responding, they are not interested. Concentrate on those that do, and then see if it works out.

  • I have a friend who says he contacts pros on here and they never respond. He's down in Southern VA. I don't get it either. I think people just don't want to be bothered. Or, their situation has changed and they can't offer cuddling anymore but don't want to pause or delete their account.

  • When reaching out to people, one should be cognizant of the last time the person was logged into the site, which is on their profile. If you're reaching out to someone who hasn't logged in since last year.......... then ya know.

Also, even if they were logged on recently, doesn't mean they're not bombarded with messages and yours is amongst the pile.

And I'm sure it's been said here on this thread as it's been said on numerous other threads, no one owes you a response and sometimes no response is a response. They might not get a good vibe from your message and/or profile, and that's just how it goes. No one knows what other people are going through. I know it feels like you're getting ignored but sometimes, it just is what it is. Be empathetic to other people's situations and choices, be kind to yourself, and sometimes you just gotta move on.

Well some of us love to get messages and get a very manageable amount. Not hundreds a day.
And depending how long the reply needs to be, we answer them same day.
It has a lot to do with who you’re messaging.
The way the message is written, information in the profile from the writer of the message, all comes into play.
@zany195 you’ve got a great start with your profile. It covers the most important things and straight to the point.
I wish you much success here! As others say, being active in the Forum helps a lot!
And if I could be anywhere in the world it would be the Lake District and Cornwall. I was near Crewe decades ago.

  • I guess I'm just different. I try to respond to every message I get.

  • It's not hard to understand that no response IS a response. Therefore accept it and move on, you'll be alright!😊👍

  • I try to respond to every message, but there have been a few that were HUGE red flags which I ignored. Usually late night 1st message, mentions superficial things about me, requests immediate cuddle, sends heart or kiss face emoji, etc. Those sometimes get banned before I even see the message

@LadyVel Thank you for that response. I’ve always found that the best cuddlers are also the best communicators.

  • To take an interweb stranger not responding to your message personally and be grumpy over it as a grown adult is just silly

  • @BgstickTeddyBea the cast of the Great Escape meets the Expendables. I’m brimming with such notions.

  • @teddybear888 old school vs new school. Nice

  • @Hoodstar - You just joined the website and are already making these accusations? I smell a troll.

  • @Hoodstar - Then log back in using your main account and say that to his face instead of using a duplicate account just to troll.

  • It's either because I forgot to respond or I'm not interested.

  • @teddybear888 & @BgstickTeddyBea

I was going to say Wick all the way, but even I forgot about Salt. So yes, Salt would take them ALL down!!!!!!!

  • @Mike403 thank you. He posted the same thing in another thread. Here is the reply I posted there. I posted it before finding this one.

@Hoodstar if you had actually taken the trouble to read my Karma, and see who wrote it, you would know that your allegation is untrue.

I suspect you have only looked at the top few Karma, noted that the accounts of those top few that are still active are professionals, and then made a number of false assumptions. One of those is that a person who is a professional now was a professional at the time we cuddled; and another is that all the deactivated and deleted accounts are professionals.

As for your suggestion that I have paid hundreds of pounds to professionals, it is not consistent with your previous allegation. If all these sessions had been with professionals the amount would be thousands, not hundreds. However it is indeed true that I have cuddled with many professionals, as I have made abundantly clear on numerous occasions.

@LadyVel and @Lisa123 - you're both pros, which I think is not the primary area of concern discussed here. In my experience, pros respond to initial messages around 50% of the time. If you want to look at pro cuddlers as legit businesses, that's pretty pathetic, but practically speaking it works out OK.

But I think the frustrating thing under discussion here is that, as far as many men can determine, enthusiasts respond to initial messages 0% of the time.

When messaging more-or-less random professionals, this is also my experience.

as far as many men can determine, enthusiasts respond to initial messages 0% of the time.

Although this has not been the case for me, it is true for many men. I believe is also true that some women enthusiasts never reply to messages.

@CuddleDuncan Might as well just ignore him at this point. I have no doubt flags are flying.

I can admit that I am sometimes guilty of this. When I am on a job, I'm often working 12+ hours daily, 6-7 days a week & not taking sessions then.
It's not uncommon for me to pop in, see a message a week or 3 old, & the person is unavailable for me to respond to.
So...that's my reason. I ALWAYS try to respond, though-even if it's too late for us to connect.

  • @CuddleDuncan I have found that after cuddling so many pros in my travels, the Karma has opened up the enthusiasts. I have just had my third enthusiast cuddle.

  • Actually, FWIW, I just looked through my messages, and I was pretty far off with my estimate of initial messages to pros getting replies 50% of the time. Of the 30 initial messages I sampled, I got at least one reply 23 times (77% of the time). But then after that first one they often stop replying, or else actually cuddling with them proves challenging for reasons that may be either bonkers or understandable, so those 23 replies only resulted in 10 cuddles.

Reported and reviewed. Pretty sure this is @Hoodstar on another alt account since I placed his in timeout. For shame…we get it, you don’t like @CuddleDuncan cuddling pros. Get over it. [Charlie_Bear]
