Safe, healing touch, or positive touch, releases chemicals like oxytocin and dopamine in the brain that create a sense of well-being and happiness while lowering cortisol levels and feeling decreased stress and anxiety. Touch can also release endorphins, which is the chemical released after a good workout or when you eat chocolate and contribute to that great feeling.
Hello! I am a Platonic Touch Practitioner and Human Connection Facilitator working with adults in need of touch, someone to talk to, or just plain companionship. I call this human connection. I am a nonjudgmental and caring person. People describe me as being incredibly genuine, as I truly enjoy talking and learning about other people and their life experiences. I am a natural extrovert and really feel energized when interacting and connecting with other people, which usually makes people feel at ease.
One of the first things I ask that you consider is what you hope to attain through our touch session. It is important to communicate that to me as best you can. For instance, I am strong and physically fit. I have a tendency to use firm pressure when cuddling and using touch therapy on your back, legs, or arms. Some people prefer a softer "air-like" touch, which is something you would want to express to me. If you prefer not to talk and would like to doz-off that is ok too. Perhaps this is your first time, and you do not know what you want. By asking a few questions, I can gauge how much touch you are ready to receive and give. I use a touch scale from 1 to 10 and have coordinating positions for each level.
You will want to give yourself some time to prepare for our platonic touch session. I ask that you be recently showered and teeth brushed before we meet. You will want to bring comfortable clothes to move around (i.e. gym shorts, sweats, t-shirt, tank top). You may wear pants or shorts, and you must wear a shirt at all times.
We have but a short time on this planet, and I believe we must make the most of it. Depression, loneliness, and isolation are not the way to live. I can help with a touch, conversation, and meaningful connection.

VIRTUAL HOLDING SPACE SESSION

This is a great option if you do not live in the area, or have time to meet in person but would welcome some face time to discuss concerns or current stressors that may be troubling you. Activities I offer are guided meditation, holding space, polyvagal movement, tapping, eye gazing, ASMR, self-soothing touch, journaling, stretching, or yoga.
PLATONIC TOUCH SESSION
$225 / 60 minutes
Come into my office and receive consented touch from a trained practitioner. I will discuss, mirror, and educate you around boundaries, consent, vulnerability, feeling into your body and honoring your yes/no. I create a safe, non-judgmental container for you to communicate your needs, share your highs & lows and really experience human connection. You will learn to become more comfortable with and trust touch. You will have the opportunity to enjoy as much or as little touch as you want. You set the pace. And just like touch, you can talk as much or as little as you want.
