Unresponsive Professionals

[Deleted User]snugglehugs1 (deleted user)

I was wondering if anyone else has the issue of and ideas of how to handle unresponsive professionals. You send a message or request a booking or even co firm a booking and try to co firm follow up information but cannot get a response. Seems to be happening more and more, especially with younger generational professionals. Thoughts?

  • You do the same thing you do when anybody stops answering your messages, take the hint and move along. Tbh I don’t think your username or lack of profile picture are doing you any favors

Common sense is anything but these days

  • Even though money is involved, i want to feel like the pro is enthused to be with me. If I get the feeling that she is not gonna really enjoy my company but just needs the money, I'm not gonna book the session.

  • Agree with Mike403, this only works if everyone is comfortable. If someone isn’t comfortable with you, you’re not going to talk them out of that. It doesn’t mean it’s personal. Pros are taking a huge leap of faith being alone with strangers, respect their choice if they’re not feeling the vibe with you.

...and with a name like hitman, it does sound like a troll account. I can't tell when this account was created since he preemptively blocked me.

I call contractors to work on my house and yard. Some never call back; some look at the job, quote you a price, then never show up. You suck it up and deal.

Also possible you are scaring them off with that stuff about wanting to text after a session and looking for a friend. Some pros are okay with that sort of thing, some are not.

  • Look through the previous forum posts and you’ll see that this topic has been exhaustively discussed in past threads. There’s lots of good information in those past discussions.

  • I am not under the impression this is a troll account.

The response rate from a random professional to an initial message is under 50%.

With a good profile, a good message, and good selection of professional, this can be increased to over about 80%.

    These threads may be helpful:

What you do, is nothing. If there is no response to your initial message after a couple of days, move on to somebody else.

In my early days of booking professional cuddlers through CC I went through a phase of sending messages to two professionals in the hope of obtaining one booking. It worked pretty well.

  • @hitman_12596 Some don't check their account regularly so if you have already booked, you may not be able to confirm again until closer to time.
Some also have requirements on their profile like messaging them information first before trying to book.
Some may only respond to messages of people they think they will vibe with while others are flakes. 🤷‍♀️

I myself try to respond to every message at least once and try to do so within 12 hours. If I don't feel like we'll vibe, I would let the person know.

@Mike403 to answer your question, more than a year and with karma. I also doubt it's a troll.

  • @Charlie_Bear @LadyVel - Gotcha. I've seen troll accounts that just joined and making similar posts... I couldn't access this guy's profile since I'm blocked for some reason... lol

  • I move on to the next cuddler. Gotta have an abundance mindset on this site and life in general.

  • @Drop_the_Mike like the outlook!

Oh awesome another one of these threads

  • There's not much to respond to these threads other than to keep reaching out to other people. There's no rule that says that people has to respond.

  • I too would ignore someone with the username >hitman

As for "handling" us , you don't. You move along. 👍

I never understood what they hope these threads will accomplish. Do they want the moderators to force these people to reply?

  • Every time a nobody responds to me thread rings, another angel eats a plate of spicy wings

  • I mean, if I were contacting any kind of "Professional" and got no response, I'd be pissed at the lack of professionalism, too. Move on to the next, obviously. But you can still be disappointed in crappy customer service.

  • @SunsetSnuggles - In this kind of business where intimate contact is involved, they shouldn't feel obligated to do business with anyone they don't feel comfortable with. I can't read his profile because I'm blocked, but look at his username.

  • [Deleted User]MaverickLegend (deleted user)

@Mike403 if it makes you feel any better, you can read my profile I haven’t blocked you lol 😂

  • @lonelytauros - lmao. I really don't give a shit that somebody I have never spoken to before has blocked me.. I just find it funny.

  • [Deleted User]MaverickLegend (deleted user)

Maybe he just doesn’t like the name Mike lol 😂

  • @Mike403 Not obligated to do business, of course, totally agree. But a simple response is the "professional" thing to do. Sadly, it takes very little to be listed as a Pro on this particular site...customer service skills, like therapeutic cuddling skills or training, are not a requirement. I imagine the OP came here expecting that all Pro's are actually professional or vetted, when that is just not how it works, here. It took me awhile on this site to realize that anyone with a picture and a last name can be labeled as a "professional", even if they've never cuddled in their lives. I definitely have respect for those who treat it as a true business and put their heart and sweat into it.

  • @pmvines that's gonna leave a poop!
