Not a relevant discussion, dinner.

Now that you are an adult, what's the least healthy thing you have had for a meal?
Chocolate cake and ice cream for dinner?
Chocolate cake and ice cream for breakfast?
Chocolate cake and ice cream for lunch?
I have done chocolate cake for dinner, way back when I first moved out on my own, just because I could.
Been a long time (20ish years) since I've done it, but I have done it.

    Cocaine and cigarettes.

Chocolate cake has flour, eggs, cocoa powder, butter and possibly cream, all of which have nutritional value beyond calories. I'm afraid it's always going to struggle in a 'least healthy' competition.

The least healthy meal I've ever had was a Big Mac and fries from a McDonalds in a now-forgotten corner of New England, on my first trip to the US. It wins, because on the other three or four occasions I had McDonalds it had always been preceded by beer.

  • That reminds me, The Great British Baking Show was fun.

  • I am making Honey Crème French Toast with a croissant style loaf of bread. Tomorrow. Tonight, it’s grilling. ☺️☺️☺️

  • Love a nice quiet dinner

I made grilled cheese sandwichs for my roommate and I today, with "American" cheese, and homemade peach ice cream bread.

Literally, bread made with ice cream rather than sugar, eggs, cream, oil, etc...

They were delicious, but probably not the best thing I have eaten in the last little while... BUT DELICIOUS.

  • Just polished off this classic combo for supper. Washing it down with a Dr. Pepper.

I bought the ingredients for chicken tostadas and rice. But now i’m feeling kinda tired after grocery shopping soooo possibly ordering a pizza

  • My least healthy meal was oreo cookies and vanilla bean ice cream for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It really hit the spot though.

  • Huh, I had ice cream yesterday for supper. Homemade chocolate ice cream with chocolate caramel candies and cashews. Nuts are good for you. My bff and I enjoy sweets and treats for dinner. NO REGRETS! 🤣😂

  • Honey Crème French Toast sounds amazing!

  • I grilled brats last night. Had the bun, saurkraut, spicy mustard with it.

  • One of favorite guilty pleasures for an healthy/unhealthy meal is going to Brazilian styled steak houses 💕🥰💕😍 the cheese bread bites🧀 they have are delicious and so are their beans 🫘 and rice 🍚 dishes there’s just so much to eat at these places I always leave with food guilt 😂

My favorite one in particular ☝🏾 is called Brazzazz in Chicago 🤩 but they closed a few years ago so now I’m only left with Fogo de ciao or Texas de Brazil 🇧🇷 to go to which are great 👍🏾 but no Brazzazz !!!

I never 👎🏾 flip my steak 🥩 & meats chip over until it’s time to leave and get my lovely and massive plate(s) boxed to go !!!

  • @SouthernDoll
Brazzaz was great, especially their prawn and roast pineapple. There is Brazil express in Schaumburg.

    Coffee and adderall

  • @Ripley54566 😂😂😂😂 me 100% only I drink tea.

  • Food is always relevant.
@SouthernDoll @Bear when was the last either of you visited Texas De Brazil? Looked at the menu recently and seems like there's less red meat options nowadays than in prior years. is that true? I used to go to the Woodfield location years ago when I lived closer. haven't been there in forever.

  • Wait...we're adults? 🤯

This isn’t a direct answer but I typically don’t have normal dinners, unless I have guests or go out. I blame my random cravings. I recall having roasted asparagus and a raspberry pineapple smoothie just a week ago, and yesterday; cold beans, coconut cookies and a beyond burger. Sounds vile describing it 😭 but I separate flavors in my mind when eating. My friends say it’s pretty unhinged, understandably lol.

  • One day I had chips, then candy, then left over Chinese for some protein.

    Did they scream in Mandarin?

  • Ferrero Rocher fine hazelnut chocolates washed down with a cup of turmeric/cinnamon milk. So satisfying.

  • A bag of Gushers and some Martinelli’s sparkling cider to wash them down.

  • @PrettyLuv those candies are delightful. My dad loved hazelnut. Do you mix your own milk ?

I'm an ADHDer with adult money and NO supervision. So many bad choices have been made! 🤣🤣🤣

@Bear yeah. I use concentrated liquid tincture extracts of turmeric & cinnamon & a little dash of black pepper but you can do the same with the powder. The equivalent for the powdered version would probably be about a 1/2 teaspoon : 1/4 teaspoon ratio of turmeric to cinnamon. It gives the milk this golden, delightfully warm, almost honey-like taste. Mmmm

Anything off the roller grill at a gas station because I was too lazy to pack dinner that night.

  • @Bear

Yayyy what a thrill, it’s so nice to see someone else who’s visited there before that place was gorgeous and food was so good. Such a bummer I’ve never tried their roasted pineapples 🍍/prawns.

I was so sad when I found out they had closed down, a friend told me it had something to do with the building management raising prices too high in that area and Brazzazz just decided to close instead of stay open. I loved their prime rib and steak selections for sure but their bread 🥖 and fried cinnamon bananas 🍌 were gnarly 🤩 I’ll have to try out Brazil Express soon since I visit Schaumburg from time to time, thanks for sharing !!!
