Is visiting somebody's profile more than once stalking them?

  • @Lisa123 - That's creepy AF.. wth

  • Sometimes i may visit because i don’t remember seeing them before. Sometimes i visit because there is something in there that i want to see or read again. Sometimes i visit because I’m curious if they are active. There are plenty of reasons to visit more than once.

I visit the site in a manner that is sporadic, i don’t often take the time to remember what I’ve seen the last time i visited, so i often née to remind myself. I look at posts that I’ve seen before more than once, and then i may visit the poster to get a better idea of the post.

I don’t get stalked or visited much but when i see a frequent visit i am curious as to why, but i don’t put much thought in to it because it’s a website that i put my information on.

Could there ne an element of stalking when this happens, but if someone doesn’t know me or anything about me besides what they see, i think I’m safe. I hope everyone else does too.

  • Its is not cuddle related but stalker related. There is a persons who brings me sealed and folded paper everyday but sunday. They dont speak or knock on the door, but instead just walk up to my house leave this stuff and will away.
Cringey for sure. One day I going to report them.

  • I go through bouts where I forget we can even see who visits us, and then I'll remember and find it's a cool way to connect with people who might otherwise be shy. 😊

It's definitely not stalking to visit more than once, though I agree with those who said it gets a little weird if they visit frequently but never reach out to message you.

I really don't care who visits my profile or how often...I've written a lot there, and if it takes numerous visits for someone who's interested enough to get through it, sweet! I also do a little fun fact of the month and some people visit just to check that out. I also update my travel plans there continually, so I would expect people to repeat visit for that, as well.

People from all over the country and out of it visit. I don't put any special meaning to it if it's someone I don't know, and if it's one of my buddies, I'm happy they're thinking of me or checking for updates. I've never felt stalked.

So someone intentionally makes an account, puts stuff on it for people to see, knows the site is for a service but gets irritated someone looked.. Hmm.
I keep looking at may home and garden magazine with Martha Stewart on the front, I put it down then pick it up anytime I feel the need to better my home or garden. I wonder if she is feeling my lurking eyes 😂. Martha are you ok? No I feel like somewhere, someone is looking at me...
    Oh boy!
Dont let me get into standing at the line in walgreens when the intercom keeps saying I see three... Im stalking all the magazines, candy and mints. May even pick a few up and hold them for a little while until I decide what I want to do with it.

  • Speaking of which:

@Mike403 If its in youtube then there are people who will think that. If a bird lands on my tree everyday about the same time staring at me is it stalking me or is it just a mundane routine the bird does in its territory? Even better question how do I know the bird is doing that unless Im doing my mundane routine staring at it?

  • P.S. On the flipside of this, as a visitor, yeppa, there are numerous reasons to click on someone's profile, be they new or someone you already know/have met.

I often click to see when my friends were last online, or to check the city of an acquaintance...

Or to see if they have pets, because that sh!t is important! 🐇🐈🐎 😁

As others have said, everything one writes on their profile is public so it's definitely weird if you think it's weird that people are looking at what you publicly chose to share. 🥴

  • I have a few favorite content creators on YouTube and I sometimes check their channel to see if they uploaded anything new. I better go apologize for stalking them. [/s]

I’m gonna make a confession here…. Some of you peeps’ profiles are happy fuel. Inspirational. Lovely. Intriguing. Curious. Funny. Meaningful. Heartfelt. Quirky & unique.

So ya darn right imma view them more than once.

That & im getting old & I don’t always remember so good. So, yeah.

  • If anyone is feeling stalked from multiple profile views, I am sorry for making them feel that way. I look at profiles of people who comment in posts, I look at profiles of cuddlers in my area, and I look at profiles of cuddlers in areas that I travel to. I look at so many profiles that I don’t remember what they said, and I might look at them again, more than once. I do the same on Facebook and Instagram, and on websites like massage exchange. As I age, I don’t always retain details that well. Do I consider myself a stalker for looking at public profiles? No. Stalking is finding out someone’s identity, looking for them on multiple platforms, being obsessed with learning everything about them, and in the extreme, watching them closely in real life. That is not remotely me. I can understand why some people might feel creeped out by multiple profile views. I think I might feel even more creeped out if they sent me a message when they really had nothing to say, so I rarely send a message unless I have something to actually communicate. “Hey, I know I keep looking at your profile, but I am really not a stalker.” Not a message I would want to receive or send. Probably better to just keep quiet.

    Yeah. My take....

I DO message people and directly ask them why they are looking at my profile but not responding to my messages...especially years of doing it. This is typically after a friendly hello and a follow up message years apart. Its....Odd.

I don't care if you're curious or just window shopping, no big deal, but don't actively seek me out if you're not willing to have something as simple as a conversation or to tell me your intentions.

    I do have stalkers.
I do have new professionals on here who purposely copy and paste things off my profile all the time.
I do work in private investigation so I pick up on people's patterns pretty fast.

it's weird to me in that sense, I'm not looking to just book with you, I'm here to connect as well. I'm not a robot or some vending machine -- I too, am human and have levels of social comfortability just like the next person.

So yeah. I SEE YOU. and I'm going to ask lol. 😆
I'm not going to chase down everyone but if you pop up in my feed multiple times, and don't respond to my message, as this is a social media site as well as a cuddle community site, I will reach out to build a bridge of understanding.

Not every conversation needs to be a confrontation, but be accountable or don't go to my page so often if you don't want a message from me...hmmm. 💯

Note to add: if we have spoken, met, cuddled, are waiting for me to travel to you as we have plans, or we have a sense of who we are as individuals to each other, your faces are welcomed on my visitor page any time and as often as you like, you're welcomed. This forum post is not directed at you 😆😆😆😆

  • Guilty as charged……. But there are also a variety of reasons I do so…

  • @MissAdventurous - How am I supposed to know when you'll be back to my area if I don't check your profile every now and then? :)

  • @Mike403 -- 😆😆 you and I have known each other for years and have cuddled up just as long. I know your intentions already my friend, no worries 😜.

  • There are some other pros that I feel like I know well enough in the forums that I would love to book with if they ever make it to my area. I don't do virtual sessions.

  • I do not mind multiple views, in fact I welcome it and take it as a compliment. If I notice it a lot, I may even initiate a conversation, though I prefer to respond rather than be the one to start one, as I never know what to say at first.

  • The visitor may not feel like it's stalking but the person being visited most likely does feel like it is stalking, especially when the visitor never sends a message or responds to a message from the person they are visiting. That is a good way to get blocked.

  • @Charlie_Bear - What about if somebody wants to schedule a session with a pro? They are likely going to click on multiple pros in their area and only message the one they want to book.

  • For me personally, I sometimes click on profiles to see if somebody is going to make a trip to Colorado. They sometimes put their travel plans in the profile. I hope nobody that I spoken to before thinks I have any bad intentions.

  • @Mike403
Oh that's normal. It's the ones that are constantly showing up on someone's recents for days/weeks and never reach out.

  • @Charlie_Bear - Oh I see. It's a struggle me to reach out to somebody directly without being awkward about it due to my autism. I can see visiting somebody's profile every day might be cause for concern because they usually don't change that often.

  • I can see that. I think a lot of the time the person doesn't have a photo or profile filled out either, so the person they are visiting has no idea who this person is or what their intentions are.

  • I think it absolutely depends on the circumstances and the people involved. I have spoken to many potential clients about my booking processes. When they did not like what I have said or do not feel the need to take the process any further, they ghost but continue to view my profile, sometimes several times a day. Does it weird me out? A little. If that client has expressed that they do not want to proceed because I require a background check, then yes. That bothers me. That feels like your intent behind considering booking me is because you like the look of my body and want to touch it for more of a sexual intent rather than a touch-therapy experience. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I do not know why you’re continuing to view my profile repeatedly if you do not intend on moving forward. Some people just forget who they spoke to and why they chose not to book with them. Some people are just curious to see if anything has changed.

    It’s all subjective.

@JustPlaneCuddle - I don't care what information they require as long as it isn't enough to commit identity theft or something like that. My ID with my first and last name and photo visible is enough. People know my full never every time I make a comment on a random Facebook post anyway. Why would a trust a pro cuddler less than random social media strangers? =)

  • @Mike403 There's a reason I don't have Facebook. 😝

  • @Mike403, some people come unglued. Even through the Cuddlist platform, I have had this people. I’m a professional photographer and I work predominantly with cancer patients, children with terminal illnesses, the chronically ill, wounded veterans, and sexual abuse survivors in therapy. All of these are areas and fields that require discretion. I have a home studio that seconds as my cuddle space. I have to know who I am letting into my home in order to protect my business and protect myself. I work hand in hand with numerous large non-profits and community services like the American Cancer Society, the Texas state foster system, and The Center for the Intrepid. Two of those have state and federal ties; I simply will not risk myself nor my other clients. My background checks have turned out three sexual predators that are known sex offenders since I have been a part of the cuddling world. Two of which tried to book me because I look 18. 🤷🏼‍♀️ You cannot keep people that have bad intentions from doing bad things but you can certainly help prevent yourself from coming to harm. As a 5’0 female, it gets a bit overwhelming and scary at times. Thank you for being one of the good ones! 🙌🏼 People like you are why we don’t just burn out and quit.
