@pmvines 💯 I love what you wrote and can relate to knowing what’s right for yourself. The difficult part for me is staying true to that decision sometimes and then thinking I could try again. @AllAboutSoul Someone who was very important to me said that when we get to a certain age, we’ve been through so much that we’re damaged. I refused to agree and said never give up hope for love again. But there’s life experience that shapes us.
For me, love requires trust.
And I simply don’t trust myself anymore.
@PrettyLuv Because the more I'm with someone the more I want my space. I have no desire to co habitate or share 100 percent of myself with any one person. I am a great friend who will plow through an army to protect you but I need my me time. I am content and feel at peace this way. One of the reasons this site works for me is that so many people I meet are not in the same area . So I might have an amazing human being all to myself for a day or 2 or 3 and then we go back to our lives until the next time we cross paths and that is what seems to work best for me Gotta have my turtle shell to climb into after a while . My sanity relies on it .
