I have made it to Nashville, TN after making numerous stops for fun along the way. I’m going to spend a few days in Nashville, which is my hometown.

Roadside America is a website with weird things along your route. You may have to pay a few bucks but well worth it. For example if you get off of the interstate and into old Route 66 east of Albuquerque, there is a place with rumble strips in the road arranged so your car will play a tune. In general I would explore old Route 66 from time to time. Painted Desert and Petrified Forest in AZ worth doing, many cool things in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The Clinton Library in Little Rock with Chihuly glass is worth doing. In Memphis, you can check out the Civil Rights museum at the Lorraine Motel, Elvis’s Graceland and Beale Street. Nashville is full of adventures, but don’t miss Asheville. Those are just a few thoughts off the top of my head. Take your time, get onto the two lanes from time to time and have an adventure!
