Is there anyone real on this site?? I keep either getting really flaky ppl or guys seeking SOMETHING MORE THAN CUDDLING!! There are sites for that… Why come here???? I’ve had several inquiries but no actual sessions. Then there’s the ones that wanna “book offline” whyyyyy??

    Yes there are legit people here, but there are also people here for the wrong reasons. All you can do is report those people and the mods will handle it. Do not book offline. A client asking to do that is a major red flag. Not only is it against the rules, but they are more likely to take advantage and push boundaries knowing that you might be afraid to report them if it will put your own account status in question.

    @AriaEss1 it's not you, it happens to nearly everybody. You'll get better at spotting the flakes with experience. As for the creeps, Report, Report, Report. Do not give them the benefit of the doubt, they know exactly what they are doing. Do not worry about unjustly reporting a good person: it's rare, and if it does happen the mods will see it for what it is.

    If everybody Reported, every time, the bad guys would get ten reports in a day and that makes for an easy moderators' decision.

    Edit: as for why they do it, there are lots of subcategories. A few of them genuinely believe that this place is non-platonic, because that's what somebody told them. Others don't really care about the non-platonic stuff, it's just a vehicle: what they really get a kick out of is the manipulation or boundary-breaking. Others just don't know what 'platonic' means.

    Then there are those here for the wrong reasons.

    I had someone from another site agree it was platonic and the conversation was going well.... and then he dropped the bomb that he thought "cuddling" was just a code word for other things and wanted those other things. 🙄 Glad he showed those red flags before we actually met up. 🚩🚩🚩

    @LadyVel - That's why screening is super important. Ask lots of questions. They usually eventually out themselves if they are here for the wrong reasons.

    There have been a few nice people, that are rewarding to chat with, but most of the people on this site are the lonely, the desperate, and the people who are exploiting the lonely and the desperate.

    @MahoganyDe84, I promise, there are real people on this site that are here for the appropriate reasons. Screening calls and video chat consultations are incredibly important for that very reason. I assure you that you are not the only person that have received odd activity.

    I have a theory : With Covid came the rise of the OF Girl and I think so many people are in a monetary crisis or would prefer more one-on-one attention than the "online girlfriend experience." In years of experimenting with online dating, I ran into some pretty weird messages. None of them hold a candle to the strange inquiries I have had since having a Cuddler profile. I think a lot of the married or significantly involved people that spent time watching x-rated material have been caught with extra curriculars. Cuddling is a perfectly safe, non-sexual practice that they can hide behind. Predators are out there and they pretty usually give themselves away without you even having to ask.

    Stay safe. Always let someone know where you are. Report, report, report. TRUST your instincts. When you notice a giant 🚩, follow your gut & report the person. I wish you the very best of luck & happy cuddling! I hope you find the perfect legit cuddle partner for you. :)

    Report even if you are unsure if something is reportable and the mods will decide what action to take. As long as you aren't maliciously submitting false reports, you won't get in trouble.

    Definitely legitimate and well intentioned people on here, you have to weed out the good from the bad but there are. Don't give up! ❤ I know how much of a turn off it can be but there are still good experiences to be had. Keep your expectations to a minimum and let people show themselves to you and it'll keep you in a good frame of mind.

    Yes real people are on this site. What your talking about is another reason why people find the forum useful. You will see real people in every shape and form typing their thoughts.
    Hopefully you will gain some traction and experience some worthwhile moments.
