Used to keep monitor lizards. Feeding them got rather expensive - you need a steady supply of rabbits, chickens, and so on to keep them happy.
It’s been a long time. I’ve had a water, dragon and fire belly newts.

I've previously had a dozen rabbits, as well as a mouse, countless gerbils, and some goldfish, but don't have any pictures of them available. 🐇🐭🐹🐠

these guys are sadly no longer with us, but ferrets are such cool pets. They are very fun and playful. Our dogs loved them too.

@AllAboutSoul it was a big black emperor scorpion named Dwayne the Rock Johnson, actually not super uncommon to see them at pet stores along with tarantulas etc . He was really docile, would just chill on your arm and hands and didn't mind being picked up or handled at all . Didn't have much venom if he did sting it would have felt like a wasp or hornet .
