Car insurance if you have it will help you hate yourself less. Mistakes get made, being grown is handling them the way a responsible adult will. You can still feel bad but hating yourself is a dark place that can lead to darker shit. Show yourself grace and give other people the benefit of the doubt with honesty and information.

But thanks everyone to clarify my brother has collision which uabfkr cars But not comphrensive which is for non cars.
But we worked out a deal since he was letting me live rent free I will contribute towards both rent and truck money won't fix him being upset but in time.things will cool down and I came forward and took responsibility in hindsight Hopefully it will be a beautiful lesson learned

You’d be surprised how your brother is being tested and so are you. This is the kind of thing that brings families together when shit seems like it’s just aiming to break you and yours apart. And #incaseshit insurance sucks until you need it, but from what i gather from your post you’ll be able to deal with it soon. I think you’re beating yourself up because of the inconvenience you caused your brother, but I’m sure after the initial feelings, he will get over it you’ll make it right and you’ll get on your feet.
