Hey so if you aren’t familiar with the area namely Ohio State in late summer /early fall you will notice that people start using a different greeting around here than Hello, How are you ? What’s sup ? Etc. So you can be ready if someone approaches you with an odd greeting you will be somewhat prepared… ok here we go.
Someone walks up to you and yells O H ! Your reply is simply I O ! Easy right ? You and your new friend have just shared pleasantries and spelled OHIO correctly. Yay !
Also if you are in a group of 4 it is customary to spell out OHIO with your hands above your heads like so …
Person 1: PE! Person 2: NNSYLVANIA!

Well! Looks like I'm going to do the three and a half hour drive from Michigan and join the meet and greet down there in Ohio :-) just because figure it's my 3-day weekend so and I can do it. I'm a hugger, hugs are always welcome. Not really they outgoing type though, more or less the shy quiet type. I'll probably stay over Saturday night.

@Umoja because I am crushing a six night stretch at work and only getting off at 5 am Friday. I am going to be taking a nap even before the pre meet up gathering.
@waynewv will probably be out greeting everyone before I surface to the world of the living again about half hour prior to the designated time.
And this hotel has an INDOOR POOL, so pack a bathing suit and we can have a community float for those that enjoy the water! I'll bring some noodles to float/lounge with
