@FunCartel - You might not have, but my cat seems to win over my roommates every time it pees on their stuff. They still seem to love him.
Also @cookiecrumb I really enjoyed reading how you are teaching your son. You seem like an awesome father, I hope I can do the same for my children someday.
Your message struck a chord with me, as my dad passed away when I was 18. I'm 33 now, but I often wonder about all the things I've missed out on. All the advice, the special moments like graduation and jobs.
I think regardless of “right”or “wrong” this is a safe platform to voice opinions, ask questions, and air grievances without being judged. we are all entitled to our own opinions. As long as you are not using it as an excuse to tear people down, there is no harm in debate. it’s not a black & white/cuy & dry right vs.wrong issue. it’s a matter of tact.
I think people debate things to learn…not to decide who is right and who is wrong. No one is perfect and sees the world for what is it. especially within the cuddle community. we are about togetherness…not about forming and taking sides or splitting. we cannot accomplish anything together if we stand apart.
I mean for anyone to really be trully 100% without a doubt undeniably right about anything you would have to have been the one who created the world and everything in it’s existence to know the purpose for it all. everything is open to interpretation. life is what you make it.

It would be neat if fewer people were blatantly wrong about things. In general.
@MCcuddles2 my dad died when I was 2 years old. I grew up without a father. I'm a submariner in the Navy, and in a submarine, you meet people that are different than you, and you have to figure out how to work with them and disagree with them at the same time. My life lessons have been learned at hard knocks university, and I want to ease those lessons for my children. Experience is a hard teacher: it gives the test first and the lesson after. I'd rather teach my children the lessons I've learned, so they'll be ready for the tests of life.

@stormydaycuddle - the first time I ever heard that quote was from Grissom on the original CSI show in the early 2000s. It really resonated with me so I tried to look it up to see how old the quote was. There are several similar quotes going back centuries so the concept has been around for a while. It is still true today, especially in matters of belief that are not scientifically testable.
@JohnR1972 there are studies on everything. I'm not saying it would be reputable but I'm sure I could find a scientist somewhere.... lol. Jk.
