Flexible and Work From Home Jobs

edited August 2023 in General

I want to get more serious about my long term financial goals and add in another source of income. I'm a pro cuddler, a care giver, and I do tarot readings. Also currently learning how to DJ which I'm super excited about. A bit of an odd diverse mix 😏 and I'm considering looking for a body piercing apprenticeship. Do any of you work or know of flexible jobs where you work when you want? Or work from home jobs? Google doesn't have any good results. It's usually "I spent two hundred hours doing surveys and made $20" πŸ™„πŸ˜†. Happy Cuddles Everyone πŸ₯° I'm in Sacramento, California by the way and frequently travel to the bay area. Thanks in advance ❀️

  • Is that the equivalent of "following"? I don't know why I don't usually get notifications on posts. I just come back and check to see if people have commented. Although I see the notification if I happen to be online when someone comments.

  • @RebeccaKe do you reddit? Check r/beermoney for some side money ideas

  • I think I might have an account still, thank you, I'll look them up

  • Try looking at big job agencies. Googling directly will lead you into a jungle of pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing and scams.

@Rebeccake - you can also register as a service provider on Fiverr.com if you have any skills they broker (voice talent, graphic design, writing, etc.). I have hired many people for various projects through Fiverr.

Go on Linked in and do a search for remote jobs.

@RebeccaKe @WriterGF or work from anywhere Jobs, which are apparently different than just remote

  • I just love seeing so many helpful posts here ☺️ I’ve been hearing about side gigs lately as a β€œ online real estate assistant β€œ basically a real estate agent will have you posting their vacant properties on different platforms like Zumper and you’d forward any inquiries to the agent to contact the customer(s) for rental properties they are trying to get filled.

    .

  • It's not a ton of money by any means, but if you love reading books check out onlineboookclub.org. You can get paid to read books and do reviews. I've done a few.

@jplemmon nice, How much does each book pay?

  • Thank you everyone

  • @RebeccaKe it's supposed to be between $5 and $60 and you have to do one for free basically to check how you do. If you read pretty avidly and follow their guidelines, it can be a little bit of extra income. You have to sort of build your rep on the site a bit to get better paying ones.

  • Nice, thank you

  • As far as flexible jobs, I still enjoy occasionally driving and delivering for Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash. Throughout the pandemic, I only did deliveries and may consider going back to that as COVID cases surge once again.
